One of my favourite programing languages is probebly swift, but visual basic is also good. for mobile development, swift is my favourite, but for computers, python has to be the best option. for blind gamers, i like using nvgt.
My knowledge of coding is very limited, I'd say I understand what's happening but I wouldn't be able to write code by my own hands. I've started to learn python a few times using different methods, both books and interactive sites but nothing helped, I just don't have a coder brain. :) With the help of AI though I understand most of the things and I've written a few things, which were useful mostly for me. I like python and the fact that it's very easy to run, very easy to get used to and I'd say it's the only language I understand even if I don't know how to code. For android I tried kotlin, that's what I used to develop SwitchSynth for Android. It wasn't easy because it has a lot of dependencies which aren't obvious at first, but at least I already know that there's no need to be afraid of Android studio. So yeah, I'd say python and kotlin, these are two really different but cool languages.
Aso, i have both xcode and android studio on my mac with the M5 chip, so i am very happy about that. i am still kind of confused with the layout of android studio, not xcode though, got my head around that, but yeah, i do like python. i also like visual basic/windows-forms, greate for getting started in developing gui apps for windows.
no, visual basic is still being developed inside of the net framework, but visual basic is now intergrated into visual studio. it is not really used for games as much, mainly gui programs now.
