Just ordered the Keychron q6 ultra with linear/red switches, demo following when I have it.

Really wonder how you'll like the red switches, absolutely not my thing for sure.
But a great Keyboard over all, and QMK is nice too, a good fit.

Did you try them out somewhere, since you said you got the brown ones as stock?

I tried linear/red ones, not the Keychrons stock ones but it's just not my kind of switch. The Keychrons brown ones suck too though, if I had known how much better others would be I would've swapped much earlyer but as we know I'm lazy so it took me a year. But it finally resolved my double registering issue too.

I haven't had linear switches yet but they sound quite promising, so we'll see. Switches don't seem to be overly expensive so I can just swap if I dislike it after a month or two.

Yes, exactly. I also had an issue with double registering on the stock Brown switches. Once I replaced the switches, the problem disappeared.

Really like it. Unfortunately though they fucked up my order and sent me the wrong leyout (ANSI). Kind of annoyed I won't have this awesome device available for probably about a week or so, but oh well.
