Hi. So I have a question for you guys. What is the biggest lie you've ever told the blind community? For me, it would be my age. I wasn't born on april 28th, and not in 2010. I'm actually a year older then I told everyone I was. My birthday was yesterday, and I was born in 2009, not 2010.

Ok, confession time. It's been a long time coming, but here goes.
All this time I haven't been blind. I'm a psychologist from New York who joined the blind community to research the place, and analyse peoples' behaviours. I was the only one who could do it. Everyone else was too scared. Scared they wouldn't come out the same. And now I know why. I wish I could change the past. But no, that's not an option. Over 10 years I've spent here. And I wish I hadn't. I've lost my wife of 20 years over this project. I've lost my house and my 3 cars. And I still continue to do it.

As for me, I pretended to be a boy in several communities. Back then I thought being a boy is cooler, like, who would talk to girls about gaming or anything? And then I recorded some kind of a tutorial and I realised my voice wouldn't fit the criteria of being a boy :D
