The most important change is the update of the Bass libraries to version 2.4.18 and Opus to version 1.5.2. I hope the new versions won't cause any problems with recording, playback, or conferences, but due to potential issues, this is currently in beta.
Additionally, when editing audio themes, you can play the default sound assigned to a given action—using a dedicated button or the SHIFT+Space shortcut. Originally, I planned to mark or filter only the original sounds, but during testing, it turned out that the themes often contained original sounds from Elten, adopted somewhere during development. These were not copies of the original files but re-encoded, which made them appear different to the program, even though they were actually aurally identical. Hence the rough comparison.
There are also a few rather important changes to the API while waiting for the new server, but this will take a while.
With versions 2.5.2.5 and new library versions, I assume some bugs may have fixed themselves, so I'd really appreciate it if you could review the 2.5.3 targets to see what's and isn't up to date.
As a reminder, you can download beta versions by changing the update branch from automatic or stable to beta in the program settings.
