Yesterday, I've randomly stumbeled across the thread on ag. Apparently codefactory is resuming their work on eloquence for a 64 bit version, currently in alfa stage.
Anyone else heard about it, maybe got a mail the same way the poster did, would you buy it if it'd come out?
Talk about it here. Curious to know.
Considering I've never bought it before, only cracked, I'd probably be willing to pay a little price. That synth is gold worth for the things I do. I'm having a hard time getting used to something else, vocalizer is the only thing that works/has to.

Don't ever buy anything from Code Factory. Remember the fact that they are the company which had Eloquence and Vocalizer as well in the past, but one day they thought hmm let's take it down. Those people never got their money back.

I mean. Considering I've spent more on audio games it could be worse. 20 bucks seems heavy but by now it's fine I guess. I mean. Vocalizer still works and Eloquence was a 32 bit problem.
Of course, I don't like them a heck lot but gotta take what we get I'd say. The blindhelp crack will take some time lmfao.

It actually would be great if they would bring it back, in any way.

Well heh. They're in fact going to as stated.

I use Eloquence for Android before on my dad's old Samsung Galaxy S9 And that was my primary synth I used for Talkback. And yes I am favor of seeing it back for 64 bit.

I don't think it exists. I wish we have dectalk for iOS that would be cool.

Ugh. Dectalk is, strange. Strange and annoying, besides that it nearly covers no languages.

This thread is giving me PTSD of when people wouldn't shut the hell up about Eloquence coming to IOS 16.

Ok I guess? Besides that idk what that means. Sorry for creating it or something:p

No no, I guess it's not about you Marc, but if you remember, back then when iOS 16 was released, people were very, very hyped about Eloquence coming to it. I remember, even here on Elten, some people even created fake recordings about Eloquence being already available for them, it was insanely hyped.

I only used Eloquence because I wasn't gonna use Vocalizer at the time, but they seem to have improved some of the Vocalizer voices, like Daniel Enhanced, I use that on my iPhone and on my NVDA, I use the old Vocalizer 5.5 thing there. I also tried using the Macintalk voices and they have weird pronunciations that got annoying. Eloquence is OK but honestly I like Daniel a bit more lol, the only time I will ever use Eloquence is when I'm reading lines for a video that I need to record, and the reason Eloquence is useful there is because its the most barable voice that actually does some inflection on exclamation marks.

There were like 4 different threads on the Audiogames forum each with a significant amount of posts not to mention Twitter, Mastodon, ugh. It was so annoying.
It's kind of funny to see how muted the reaction has been for it coming to Eloquence by comparison

@9 It has UK English, Spanish, and German for dectalk. Also@14 eSpeak and Dectalk can also do exclamationmarks good as well.

In some rare versions that might be.

That is dectalk4.60 which is multilingual.

Um, nice.
Anyways I don't really care about dectalk and this ain't the general speech synths discussion thread.
How can blindies be so nerdy about any tts man, it confuses me. Should point out that that mentioned version where ever one would even get that, is usually not the one you get to install. The nvda addons never had it for instance.
But again, 3 languages are kinda mid.

n o, it has more than 3 languages, 12 languages,
