Hi all! So i have a blindshell classic2 phone and, well, i don't really like google text to speech on there. So there is this app called blindshell espeak on the phone, and i was like, can we take out google TTS? Well, there is this adb blindshell enabler script that allows you to do things using adb, so we took out google of the sistem and got blindshell espeak! Yay! A nother engine after a fhew years now! Ok it's just one year lol.

Let me correct you a little. This phone is originally designed for those blind folks who are either old and are unable to use phones with touchscreens, or children, who are too young to get a fully functional phone, due to online risks. The concept is good, but horribly done, that's the main problem of blindshell. An average person doesn't need such a phone, it has a special audience with special needs.

Oh yeah. This is true. I helped an old man who recently went blind with his phone, and he seemed to let his frustration get the better of him and not receive at all. By contrast, I helped out a sweet old lady who was such a fast learner
