@Jonathan and Rudolf,
I'm going to assume that this was a language issue and you didn't mean any harm, but eitherways, your personal politics aside, this was not the place for that.

Honestly, I myself would've not guessed that gender reveal ment that. In these times, thespydes signature confirms xd.
Glad I shut up about it, I guess...
Good to know anyways.

On a side note, just wondering,
Any producer here on Mac btw? Or is it just me.
Since I have a holiday starting tomorrow, I was thinking about maybe dropping in smaller creations if I make them, and feel like it. Elten on Mac is kinda great for that tbh.Saves me from transfering files.

Well, hi, how's it going? Rudolph, that's a nice beat, I kind of like it. Sounds pretty like electronic sort of dance music or something. Cool, man.

Thanks, I appreciate it :)

Out of key not fixed, but I worked on EQing and compressing basically all sounds that needed it and also boosted the high-end to give everything a brighter character. I also found a nice loop and buildup, out of which I made the second attachment. The reverb, stutter effect, EQing, drums etc all myself. It should be in the key of Gm and I think the chord progression is proper but i haven't yet verified it.

I have a feeling you are producing music like programming. When a person with proper hearing composes music, the main thing is that if they hear some problems with the key, they don't even give the product to anyone before fixing it. I say more, such problems don't even exist if the composer hears what he's doing. So like I'd never be crazy enough to compose a melody in E major and the chords in C minor because I know it is going to sound horrible. What you are doing is similar to programming. You find loops, check if the key and the BPM is the same, and stick them together because it sounds cool. And then you find a third loop, you see that the keys don't match but still put it there because... Because I don't even know why. And at the end your only problem with your own product is a key mismatch. No. It's deeper than that.

@431 it's more bright now and there were some minor changes. It's not dramatic if you don't hear them, but those matter sometimes. I think the most notable thing is the clap that comes before the drums hit the first time and the sidechain on the tow leads that weren't sidechained yet that makes them fit more.
LOL ok, the I just use loops thing, here we go again. Honestly, if it wasn't for that point with the key I wouldn't even see it as something worthy to be worth engaging with. It's probably a me issue, I can't distinguish something being out of key because i don't have perfect pitch, nor really proper relative pitch. I also don't see it as an issue posting unfinished songs that aren't fully in key yet here either - that's what this thread is for isn't it

Well, it's kind of like saying, what's wrong with serving customers of our restaurant half-cooked meat? When there is a cacofony or some things are in different keys which don't work together, it will not be pleasant to the ear. Perhaps, it can be learned over time though?

Well, it would be the case if we were on a music platform where this would be the final version, but we aren't.

honest i never even understood the philosophy of publishing something which isn't the final version so we are not here to look at and listen to every step of your production we are here to listen to something final because you produced something to show us and if we like it then we will say that you did well but if you didn't then we'll say you didn't do well so you know i never understood like would you publish a book that you have written like in half and it's not ready so like the like half of the story isn't ready yet but you already want to show it to us because it's cool no i'm sure not so that's the problem of people who don't really know what they are doing so that's the problem with ai programmers too uh and of course there are some people who uh don't do such things and like there are some exceptions of course but a lot of people who don't really know how it is to to produce something or how it is to write a program they don't understand the philosophy of making something so like the philosophy of creation you know when someone is writing a program they are spending hours days weeks on correcting all the bugs and correcting all the things which don't work the same goes to music creators and composers if someone composes something like a single song or some i don't know any music they are spending hours days weeks sometimes even months to understand that this part is problematic this part we have to fix this part doesn't sound as well as i want it to sound and they publish their song only after fixing all of this because sometimes you realize these things only after a given time sometimes days sometimes weeks sometimes even months and you know it's like it's important for people to be able to just focus on their music so normal you don't have to be ready in two hours producing music is not mixing loops together because it's not music it's not your art it's not your creation so like if you understand my philosophy you get the fact that it's not always good to drop something out in like a few hours but you also need to enjoy your work and if you don't enjoy your own work but only mix drops together like loops together drops and like snares and kicks melodies together and you look at like oh yeah this key fits here yeah it's also in e minor yeah this also this is also in a e minor cool it fits no it doesn't music creation is not like this music creation is like a hobby in which you have to engage with the song that you're creating and you're not doing this you're opening ableton you're finding some loops you are filtering for keys so like they fit together and your filters match your loops match and cool the song is ready and you don't look at the fact that the fact that it's even if it sounds like music it's some loops made in like two hours and we don't even have to be on a music platform to judge your argument of like being on a music platform is very weak because it's not the case it's a music topic it's a topic about creating music and if you publish things which aren't ready because like we are not the right people to duh tell you how to continue and how to like polish your music and that's why we are not on a music platform so like on a music platform you can post such things so like what do you think about this and that but on a platform like this like elton we usually want to hear products that are ready you know so like and these loops like i can also download ableton and like put them together and call it a song but it's not a song it's like there was an application uh for ios called launchpad this had the same problems it had like i don't know how many loops maybe a hundred or something like that it had some loops they could like you could stick them together it sounded cool but more than that it didn't know like it couldn't do anything else and that's that's why it became very boring after a while so i hope you understood what i mean because i didn't want to hurt you or something but you're not composing music at this point you

I've read people put out first chapters of books to thrill people. Beta versions of games and software very much fall under the same concept. Demos to labels are a thing.
You're not really willing to neutrally talk about my loop usage and it's silly I'm even bbeing the only one being critized just because my music theory lacks behind, so I'm not going to engage with that. It's gotten genuinely boring. Good job on wasting six minutes of your life to record this.
Also who ever said this topic is for finished tracks? If that is what yu expect, maybe don't expect so much. But that everyone must be perfect is nothing new that you expect so uh yeah.
