did you guys know that RHVoice for iOS is probably abandoned?

So guys, aparently they are still not gunnna ad any english voices. Because TTSproductions1200 did a revew on said app and that RHVoice replied saying there are over 1000000 voices already on iOS, and since you made a 2 star revew, the app will not attract english language users. Aint that stupid? Because this is a reeeeeealy hi demand because we have espeak and they have all the voices, but they don't even know that. considdering they have just been working on voices for other clients like android and windows. Someone now has to make a fork of RHVOICE for iOS considdering it's OPEN SOURCE application. I don't even get it. And those are the only 2 synthesyzers that actually work with voice over, I mean I get that acapela voices now work on BlindSquare but still.

Emm, are you aware of the fact that the developers of the iOS RHVoice are completely different?
"As I watch this generation try to rewrite history, one thing I'm sure of is that it will be misspelled and have no punctuation."
#3 MayowaArogundade
I've noticed. ANd thats stupid because they could have just done that earlier, also someone remove that other new post, this one was already sent but elten counted it as an error because the servers are so slow
#4 MayowaArogundade
to be fair though, I kind of wish that someone made a dectalk for iOS synth, I mean its possible as the sorse code has been found, but no one has been willing to do that either.
#5 alchappers
I need to find the Dectalk sourcecode at some point, maybe one day I could make Dectalk for IOS, I dunno though lol.

I contacted the RHVoice developer for the iOS app and they told me to not be so selfish because I asked for English voices. I mean these voices exist and why not simply puting them into the app?
#7 alchappers
For real. Looks like if we want English voices from RHVoice on IOS, we'll have to put the work in ourselves.
#8 MayowaArogundade
yeah, and that involves getting the voices metadata and then transissioning it to the rhvoice app or something, dunno
#9 Urh2006
How to get ESpeak for iOS? I've never used RH Voice.
#10 MayowaArogundade
you can get espeak on the appstore at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/espeak-ng/id6444089174

We've already had to deal with the thing with accessible android that tech freedom was payed, and its only like $10 which is reasonable. But they don't even allow there users to even crack the frickin software! They clutter it with ads, and just expect you to get passed them yourself. Because there are some ads that don't even have a close button
For instance, audio game hub as of this year just comes up with UnityRemote5 ads, because they use the unity thing as there source of games. Its dumb, some app developers are stupid.
#12 MayowaArogundade
and that was ment to be put into another app sorry about that
#13 MayowaArogundade
and also speaking of other tts software for iOS, apparently phillipe bennefall was going to make his own engine for iOS but it was also gunna get canceled for whatever the reason
#14 khalil2009
you do know you can edit posts, right? you don't need to make 3 posts talking about the same thing
#15 Jokyboy129
Isn't editing only something for mods?
#16 Kaito
Yeah but you can edit your own posts at least in this forum.

@1, what is / was Rh voice?
#18 MayowaArogundade
-RHVoice is a synthesizer made by non-ruteen LLC that is based on a set of linux voices, and its been on many platforms over the the years. But the iOS one doesn t have english voices, because they are focusing on voices for other languages that iOS doesnt support. Englishes voices are a very hi demand.
