Hey there. I guess I'll be the first thread in this section, heh. Anyway. What's everyone's favorite songs, genres, artists, etc? Feel free to send a song you've been listening to, I'm really curious to here yall's different tastes in music. Me personally, I'm mostly into hard rock, some metal though the more clean vocals the better although I'll take screams if the song is at least quality lyrically. I'll check out other genres if there's a song I particularly like, I've been fond of some particular orchestral/piano/whatever songs but those are primarily because of the theme/lyric, particular artists with different kinds of music I'm checking out and all that
Even if the darkness grows too deep, even if it looks impossible. You are never alone. You are never forgotten. Remember that.
I hve a little bit of everything, but most of the stuff I listen to is on the more electronic side. There's also some metal, rock, rap, disco, funk, and soul. It all depends on how I feel. I have realized that I like minr keys better than major keys, but some stuff in major keys bleeds through. I go through phases of music dependent on what's going on in life.
Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.
Only since today, but this one has really just kinda appeared in my life, and I feel there's just, a special vibe to it somehow. Won't go deep on why but here you go. Embers.
For me hard rock mettlecore, and going heavyer by the month it seems, I mostly like clean vocals as I am a singer and like to explore alternitive ways of singing to add extra dynamic levels.
I realise I know little compared to what all is true, I try to think, and the one thought I can no longer be swaid on is that god is very real. That being the case I will try to live in accordence to the way christ intends for us to act. Time to give up the weel.
I have a wide taste as far as music goes but I especially like late 2000s pop, 90s R&B, 80s music of all kind, some sixties stuff and I like dabbling in early 20TH century interwar music. I also like Japanese music too. Particulary city pop and rock. There are surprisingly a few gospel songs that I really, really like. We Fall Down But Get Back Up again is so powerful, and, You're So Beautiful To me.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.
My favorate bands growing up were a7x, hail storm, three days grace and some other radio bands I would hear time to time. Now I have gotten into more bands of the same kind and moved more into the mettle and mettle core music, bands like motionless and wight imminence witch was a band someone showed me a year ago.

I’m a huge metalhead. I listen to a ton of deathcore and metalcore—bands like Shadow of Intent, Left to Suffer, and The Amity Affliction are always on repeat. I also dive into progressive metal at times, with groups like Gojira, Currents, Imminence, and Wolves at the Gate rounding out my playlists. For example, this song is awesome. I’ve included the lyrics below since most people won’t be able to make them out while listening. For reference, this is by a band I mentioned earlier, Shadow of Intent. The lyrics are highly introspective, and I personally attribute them to describing the downfall of the society we live in today, especially in America. It reflects the rejection of the Christian faith and the embrace of a wicked ideology that despises everything that is righteous and good. Underneath a Sullen Moon Lyrics [Intro] The ether realm declares the world but a stage A coldly calculated transformation to the grave Onward we follow, herded as slaves Collectively lapsing into the land of flame
[Verse 1] Alas, the truth has been presented before my eyes I've been unbound from the shackles of faith No longer lead to believe there is hope beyond this world The rope starts to sway No longer lead to believe there is hope beyond this world The rope starts to sway
[Pre-Chorus] The voices died one by one as they called my name Wept until the body could no longer feel the pain And naught a thing to blame Trapped in a shell of excessive disdain
[Chorus] Under the moonlight I yield For I am not enslaved But one of many of those who kneel The reasons, the answers will follow me to the grave Under the moonlight I yield Venture beyond and prepare the final phase [Post-Chorus] Now I look beyond the black eclipse The macrocosm of the divine
[Bridge] The sullen moon pulls at my soul, a beckoning for relinquishment Like the tides under lunar influence The urge is relentless I venture beyond
[Pre-Chorus] The voices died one by one as they called my name Wept until the body could no longer feel the pain And naught a thing to blame Trapped in a shell of excessive disdain
[Chorus] Under the moonlight I yield For I am not enslaved But one of many of those who kneel The veil beyond cries my name
[Outro] I have left behind all that I love and all who commit My soul in the hands of destiny Briefly embracing the chill of dimethyltryptamine
A struggle for many is the end of the few A cancer that no mortal man can elude I hang in my sorrow with no dispute Just know I'm sorry, I swear to you
“The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” (Albert Einstein)
The topic is based ngl. Nice to see topic matters that aren't commonly talked about in music, it always seems if something is herd in a song once you will hear it in like every other song.

Let the stars be your guide. Let your mind just relax. And when in doubt, meditate.
I like old Dan Tucker by Bruce Springsteen, How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees, Top of the World by Carpenters, and many more which is going to take too long for me to list them. I prefer old songs until the music from 2010's.
Nice, not to be a spelling butt either, but music I don't think has an S on the end. -- (GeorgeWu): I like old Dan Tucker by Bruce Springsteen, How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees, Top of the World by Carpenters, and many more which is going to take too long for me to list them. I listen to a fair bit of everything, but my favorite genres are classic rock, jazz and oldees. My favorite song is "Layla" by Derek and the Dominos from 1970.
One of my current favorite songs is Follow You by ImagineDragons. I will not attach it because the file is too large for Elten. But you can look it up if you want.
@2, what happened here? This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Hastings, Clayton, & Tucker Inc -- (MatthewSmithYT): Mostly oldies for me, like 50s-80s. Maybe some older. Here's a song I've been listening to the past few days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcDDia3eKZk
