Open FPS, my python 3d FPS game and my thoughts on the state of blind game/gaming community

git clone?
Edit: Also, it seems as installing the depencendies is not fully worked out, with pip install -r requirements.txt I do not get all required stuff. Some stuff I can install by just checking the given errors but some things just appear broken, this is very unfortonate.

at least right now this isn't the best game. to be working with. alot of things don't work and are vairy buggy. pritty sure you can only connect to the server right now and nothing else

What you are saying does not make any sense. If you have never tried it out you just can't say, meh it's lame, you probably just can do that and that. Did you see the code size?

This is a very good base for building a larger project. I tried to do something more from it but I stopped at sounddesigning and problems with lags ;)
#25 blindpro
its also not being updated i'm pritty sure
#26 Krisi
Will you release this if it will be finished?
#27 rudolf
I mean, it's literally on Git Hub. Do you mean public hosting of a server?
#28 michal---
how to run the game???
#29 ferre
just a question, I don't hear any sounds

Guys I've been working on some other projects, rewriting the map engine, working on a whole new framework, this current codebase is a bit messy. I haven't given up on this, crypto trading and developing accessible tools in that sector has been what I've been working on. I'm working on a much better designed map / world integration that is much more robust and handles systems, collisions, spatial partitioning and so forth. I'll update the repo soon with the new code once I've got a revised server up and running then I will need to work on the client. It is a lot of work. Complete rewrite from scratch, event driven design, modular and so forth.

Lots of revisions, implementing stateful context management for world actors to make processing input commands more straight forward. Network component will be it's own package, will be very flexible and extensible. Will have database integration for game data backup in addition to data files. Goal is a base anyone can use to build on to create their own game implementation.

hmm, still don't have sounds
#33 cody_hurst_official
No, of course there are no sounds, the client is no where near being complete
#34 Adasadula
OMG, it isn't a full game, it is something like template for future projects
