Games and writing: let's discuss our opinions

The following post is planned tto turn into an adequate, normal discussion without any politics, or offense against other people. I would like to ask everyone to moderate themselves and keep away from such behavior.
Hello everyone!
A few days ago I've read a topic on a forum about the open analphabetism of a lot of people, which slowly turned into personal attacks and aggressive opinions about different countries.
However, in this topic, the main goal isn't to bash people, but to talk about a more horrible thing in my opinion. While it bothers me a lot that I, as a native hungarian speaker, write in english and russian more correctly than some native speakers of these languages, I can somehow understand it. Native speakers tend not to think about their mother tongue and it's rules; I am some kind of an exception, since I teach hungarian to russian and ukrainian people who move here.
What I would like to talk about is the blatant mistakes in audiogames, especially commercial ones. And in my honest opinion, it's worse than a usual person misspelling some stuff while writing a message.
Just take a look at Survive the wild by Sam Tupy. Temproture, thickforrest, boddle, battory, juke box, shall I continue? At least paid objects aren't misspelled, we should be happy for that.
Open any of the Manamon games. While Manamon 2 is better in terms of spelling, the first part is just horrible. Of course if you are playing with Eloquence, you aren't going to think about the fact that your money was spent for nothing. But someone with eSpeak or a synthesizer which reads everything without any reductions or specific rules, would easily tell the developer to spend some of his income from the game on a proofreader. It's a pity there are free ones as well.
And no, not only clones suffer from these spelling mistakes. As I've stated before, such big titles, such as Survive the wild or Manamon are the most blatant examples.
The truth is that I don't really play exactly audiogames nowadays, and well, what to say. It's so a better feeling to play something more polished, more realistic and overall, less blindy and full of errors.
If I was a developer, I wouldn't allow myself to do such cringe things at all. I would never allow myself or any contributors to release something with so damn bad grammar and spelling, because I would be ashamed of myself.
My biggest problem is not with native speakers anyway, because it's the fault of every developer who does such things.
It's strange anyway, that in the USA and some other places this doesn't count as a huge problem. A lot of people are fine with it and don't understand those folks, who are bothered by this undemanding attitude.
So well. What do you think? What, in your opinion, counts as blatant ignorance regarding this situation, and what do you still accept without any questions?

STW was mostly developed when Sam was 12 so you can't really fault him for having bad spelling at the time. I think he's worked on it and most, if not all, of the errors are gone now. Another thing to think about is those spelling errors make sense if you sound it out. I'm not saying that should be an excuse for someone with at least a secondary education, but again. Considering he was still in primary education when initially writing most of those, it's understandable. Also Juke Box is not a spelling error, not sure what you mean there, and I think it's a bit unfair to call out forest with 2 r's. That's the equivilant of me castigating you for not capitalising the words English, Hungarian and Russian. It's an error, but an insignificant one none the less and a simple typo.
Another thing to consider is these guys are often one man teams. Big companies like what you like have dozens, if not hundreds of folks working on the product, with a significant chunk of those being dedicated to proofing. Not everyone's brains are built the same. Some folks might find coding much easy to wrap their heads around whereas they may not have the patience for proofing.
As for that topic you read, the first post itself was laced with aggressive attacks against others and their countries, it didn't devolve. It was only reciprication.

Lol, that was literally what is I wanted to write after I ahve saw the first post yesterday and saw there is a new post today while opening the thread. Bug reports are there for a certain purpose ArcticMoon.

The thing is, such, so said bugs shouldn't be reported by us, but not be there at all. I guess if someone released a game for the general sighted community, almost everyone would be pissed off for encountering such primitive errors. Because most of these spelling mistakes aren't rocket science at all, these are the easiest words you could think about.
I mean, imagine a game like Last of us with the style of your average audiogame developer. It would be a shame really.
Or something like hearthstone. You got a reword, open sum kard pakse, pley in battlegrundse and bee the best gaymer in the hole cuntry! The guvverment will chear four you!
I've written all of this using Eloquence/Elloquinse/eliquence/eliquense/elliquinse to make sure I've spellt everything correctly.

Broh it sounds wrong with it but of course you as robot tts user won't notice. Stop bashing people for eloq and except that you are noone to command us around for that or say that most of eloq users have a whooooole bunch of spelling errors due to it.

Broh, was that ironic? Anyone with ears knows that eloq reads this just horibly, obviously. So if you wanted to further support your point saying that eloq is that bad, that failed xd

It's funny that I got some mentions for my previous post about unprofessionalism, yet noone has any problems with commercial unprofessionalism. :D
#9 ArcticMoon
No, I wrote all of that with Eloquence and except a few smaller things, everything is being read fine.

@4 nice to see you ignored literally everything I said. Were you actually seeking a discussion or validation?

Broh I'm sorry but then you have something with your ears. Or maybe it's you use eloq just 1% of your online time. Every person with ears knows this is being pronounced shitty like it's supposed to. But meh I'm giving up with that now, you're out of arguments which says enough, so that's that anyway.

I don't care what tts these guys use. The fact that they make a lot of spelling mistakes in simple words is unacceptable in my opinion, especially if they charge money for it or if it's a known title in the community. But I know that most spelling mistakes on stw are being corrected over time and the staff are even posting them in the server changelog. So yeah, I think trying to correct spelling mistakes and working on that is good, but ignoring them is not.

About STW: Sam is aware of this, and trying to fix all.

Keep in mind that most audio games are made by one person or a small group, while main stream games are made by a company.

See post2, that already said this

It doesn't matter. A simple person should write as correctly as a company.
Even if a single person writes the whole game, he asks money for it alone. It's not an excuse, sorry.

Absolutely. You are right and it's so sad that there are so a lot of ignorant people, who, possibly, haven't studied enough to understand what's wrong.
I expected this anyway, but the whole thing is surprising. But it's great to see there are still some people who see the problem.

I'm not out of arguments, it's just useless to argue with people who haven't had enough education yet to think critically. Don't worry, the time will come, you are just either too young, or you hate grammar lessons.

Typical. Slowly it's getting boring and I've no reason to fight with you. Wow, so sad. But here I'll give a last argue.
Did you already thought that people can make typos? And not they make spelling errors? Or just forgot to spellcheck something before they rlease it, or write something in a wrong way though they know the right way, just because they learned it before and not got used to it? There are over 1,000 reasons.
For example was the base of this sentence the following:
Did you already thoguht that people can make typos? And not they make spelling errors? Or just forgot to spellcheck something ebfore they rlease it, or write something in a wrong way though they know the right way, just because they learned it before and ot not used ot it? Another reason is that people are not focused on the thing, or can't concentrate, regarding the gramar thing.
