those who were able to run the launcher successfully, please run it again, the game will download 3 files and delete 3 others and the engine bug should be fixed for the Cessna C152. It's probably going to be fixed for all other planes tomorrow.
We haven't been able to discover the cause of the profile menu item not working bug so far. Could be an incomplete download.
Couldn't read beyond the end of the stream error, that's a server side error or an incomplete download too. The server developer is not available at the moment.
He also needs to work on the launcher's server side. Unfortunately, there's probably not gonna be any more news on this front today because it's 8 PM our time now, I've been up for two whole days straight already working on the game non-stop and Stefan the programmer also needs some rest as well.
Control remapping is not possible at the moment, it's not implemented. You'll need a full-size keyboard or a flight stick in combination with a laptop keyboard.

that he send also:
Hi everyone,
this is what I just sent to the Groups.io list before unsubscribing from it, and although I'm not leaving this forum or anything, I just don't want to waste the time writing the same thing over again when I've already explained it as best as I could, especially the state of the team right now. It's going to be lengthy but do please read it just so that you can understand my mental state right now, and perhaps be patient with me. Much appreciated. I need to take a break from replying to this thread for a couple days as well just because I'm drowning in overdue duties. Here goes the original message sent to the mailing list:
Hi everyone,
unfortunately, I have to officially announce that I'm in deed going away from this list as the only dev team member who's tried to somehow keep up with its traffic until now. To those who saw my messages from yesterday, this is my final decision after a good night's sleep, emotional calmdown and some serious considering.
No one else on the team is as fluent or comfortable at English and no one else besides me has been monitoring this list actively. However, the insane traffic is simply way too much for a single person to keep up with. I need to do actual work on the game, at my workplace, and I have a life. I've been neglecting everything else for weeks now because of the game and I'm starting to have problems in my life because of that. I need to back away before it's too late to fix them.
I was trying my best to be the one person from the team actually representing us on here and answering questions, especially in the early hours and days when the transition to the buggy beta of a whole new program is understandably tough for most of you. I can't do that anymore. I still have a lot of work to do on the game itself, testing, reporting bugs, the remaining tutorials, writing the FAQ, known issues and fixed issues pages for the website and then keep maintaining and updating them regularly, doing the Czech translation. And besides the other commitments that I mentioned, I'm also monitoring the private beta list, the Slovak list and the Audiogames.net forum. I haven't done literally anything else but Eurofly for the last month or so. Yeah, it's my own problem, but I just wanted to explain the extent to which this is getting out of hand faster than you can say Eurofly.
If we were an actual company, we would have had several paid tech support representatives who would be monitoring these lists 9 to 5 as their actual job. Like this, I'm just a single guy sacrificing all his free time. I never dreamt the traffic on here could be this huge.
Joining a Discord server or another instant messaging channel like Telegram etc. wouldn't help me or anyone. Such channels may be less cluttered for now just because there may not be as many members of the Eurofly community using them. From a selfish and short-term point of view, I may have had less messages to reply to that way, but that would still leave the hundreds of people on this list stranded. The inevitable outcome would still be the same as it's going to be when I unsubscribe from this list anyway.
I'm sorry about that. You'll be left without official tech support for a developing early beta which was meant to be the stress test for the server and an efficient method to discover and fix bugs, of which there are bound to be plenty. Just as we can't afford to pay people to do tech support, we can't afford to pay people for their testing work, and 20 people in the core dev team and translation team just aren't enough to debug a program of this scale and complexity.
I know it sucks and it's not a solution to anything. I expected a more holistic and professional approach and a crisis management plan for these situations from the dev team when I joined it back in August. I'd be totally upset about this if I were you, and you'd have every right to want to strangle me just now, but it's just the way it is and there's nothing that I can possibly do about it. It's not your fault that you are all this excited about the game but at this point I just need to save my own sanity and health and that's the only thing that matters to me anymore.
Answering a question or a bug report from 1, 2 or even 10 people is no big deal, but trying to keep up with 300+ messages a day feels like being eaten alive by vultures, chained to a rock and handcuffed all at the same time because you literally can't do anything else, your conscience won't let you. I have to silence that conscience by just not being here anymore. I know it feels like running away from a responsibility from the outside but let me tell you that I never signed any contract to be doing this. I have other roles on the team and promises to keep that I am fulfilling, and this was just my own naive voluntary decision because it just felt shitty to me that there was a mailing list for a game without anyone from the dev team actually replying to the messages that were sent to it. I voluntarily and naively chose to try to save a sinking ship, and the very fact that it had to come down to this is the best proof of the team's amateurism you could ever get.
Thanks for reading this, whether you understand and can live with it or feel like wanting to burn me alive, because it's a valuable life lesson for me either way.
I just need to go record the remaining training tutorials, write the aforementioned pages for the website, consolidate the bug reports accumulated so far, and answer the phone calls from my family members, complete my overdue assignments at work and more. I'm sorry to have to go and leave you all to figure out everything on your own but I just have to. At this rate, I was being too brief at best and overly sarcastic and toxic at worst in my latest messages anyway, which you didn't deserve, provoke or expect, and none of it was your fault, you just asked genuine questions and expressed genuine, and often very justified, concerns. I apologize to everyone.
Please, check out the website at eurofly.stefankiss.sk/ef3 again later today, tomorrow or the day after, when the FAQ, known issues and fixed issues pages should all finally be up. That's the best and only thing I can do at this point. I'll update these pages as often as I can. There will be contact information to report new bugs not listed among the known issues, and I would like to ask everyone to please not spam me by reporting bugs that are already listed there once the page is live.
I hated having to provide vague answers to every single bug report just because I myself didn't know more than you, and just like you, I hate having to wait for new updates at this stage where the launcher, profile creation and more are broken for many. At the same time, we do need to understand that Stefan the developer is also just a single guy working on this for over 4 years in his spare time, often overnight, among his other family, work, and real life commitments. It would be best for you to start expecting updates and progress in a matter of weeks rather than hours or days, just because you would save yourself a lot of pointless frustration that way. There's nothing that I or anyone can do to change Stefan's life or anything. He's not an employee of a big game development studio either...
To sum up the current state of things, there is still no news about the most serious issues that many of you are having which manifest either as the launcher not working properly or as your game crashing unexpectedly or you not being able to create a profile or choose an airport for training, etc. Most of these are related to the server-side code, and the server programmer is often even less responsive than Stefan. We'll all just have to suck it up and deal with it for now, whether we like it or not.
At least the website itself should now be working much more reliably, Stefan fixed a lot of it, and now that it's no longer generating excessive database queries, the webhost should put it back into the normal access mode with no restrictions or max concurrent connection limits soon, probably Monday at the latest. The remaining website bugs that you may encounter when displaying the traffic page or the traffic panel directly within the game are also underlying server-side issues. Only the stars know when those will be fixed at this point.
The engines not starting for all other planes besides the Cessna C152 should be fixed today to the best of my knowledge, probably along with a handful of other smaller reported bugs.
Everything else will be cleared over time as Stefan raises up from under the pile of bugs that he probably didn't expect to be this tall, and if you keep following the known and fixed issues pages, you'll be able to get a better picture at the very same moment as us, the rest of the dev team.
I can't say anything else at the moment even if I wanted to, really. That's all I know and am able to do. By the time you read this, I'll already have been unsubscribed. Lukas over and out.
Thanks everyone for your valuable input.
See you somewhere else, maybe even in the skies some day.

#48 rudolf

#49 Jacobww3
Make sure you use the portable version and not the installer at the moment because the reason is that the portable version has everything downloaded
#50 rudolf
I do use the portable version.
#51 rudolf
oh, it finally downloads! before it was throwing errors as fuck.
#52 Jacobww3
They really outdid themselves with things you can do on here. They didn't make it so that the hights are in feet and not in metors, or they didn't make it so that you can change from metors to feet.
#53 techboy
is there a manual
#54 Jacobww3
I have been lokking but I don't see one, yet.
#55 fireball2023
I wish there was a manual

listen tutorials on youtube channel.
#57 ArcticMoon
Not everyone understands english enough to listen to tutorials, that's the problem here. For many of us it's normal, but for example I've got a lot of messages from hungarian fellows not being able to understand what to do at all.
#58 Jacobww3
Right. I know exactly what you mean. My first language when I was little was french. So I know what it's like to struggle to figure out a different language.
#59 turbogamer
