your servers

hi, I opened a topic wich is semilar in the german communithy, but it is about computers. so here we can exchange about servers in general, maybe post what datas they have, from wich provider they are and how much they cost, etc etc etc.

as for me, I have a server with 3 GBRam, 3 cores and 250 NvMe. windows is installed, and I have this server on dsh for 7 to 8 dollers (7 euro 65).

I never heard about things with 3 gb ram

also that is nothing unespicially. espicially for littler linux vps.

I have one ssd and one storage vps from liteserver.nl.

I use Hetzner to run 2 servers. My Pleroma server and my general purpose Linux server that has my website and things hosted on it. The price comes to around 10 pounds a month and that's with 4Gb of ram for the pleroma server and 2 for the main one, 40GB storage for both.

I have an ovh server that's like 30 dollars a month that I use for hosting my website and stuff. 32 gb of ram, 4 tb of storage

lol what the fuck? why would you need 4TB storage on a server, except you wanna be crazy and host/download sound libs and stuff, also 32GB ram? for web site hosting, lol you have money obvioursly...

well, interesting what "only" is for you.

You can use 4 TB on a server for a lot. How do you think big companies work? If you have the option and the resource, why not?

I have a 1 GB ram, 25 GB storage linode for about 5 bucks a month. Getting a little low on storage so might have to upgrade, but I'm not sure when as of yet.

Well, you can a lot if you have the money, but he said web site hosting and stuff, thats not sounding like he needs fucking 4 tb, but lol, enjoy XD?

Well, for me, I have 8GB Ram and 200GB ssd, and I don't even use the half...

2 GB ram, 2 cores, 40GB ssd, approximately 6/7dollars/month

that's tbh really expensive. my server has one core, one gb ram, and 210 gb NVMe more and costs 8 to 8 dollers.
