A littl bit off-topic I believe, but many translations like Russian and Turkish have stopped due to lack of support. I know the Turkish translator, who is my brother. He said that the changelog of the new version wasn't given in prior to releasing a new version, for example, and the translation would always have to follow the release of the program. I don't know why did the Russian translation was stopped, though.
I massaged to pajper to take over the Turkish translation, but haven't gotten any response since. I believe that there should be a more organised effort to encourage further translation.

I don't really know/can follow how we came to NVDA, but you can't compare those both programms, in any, thing.

Again, elten isn't known much so it's natural to not get this amount. And even though many know python, it doesn't mean they feel like contributing to nvda in any way. Keep in mind that a lot of users created addons anyway. Yeah this argument isn't really valid.

When it comes to translations, they appear before new versions, but a lot depends on the priority of the changes introduced. Sometimes it is a few days, sometimes it is a few hours.

And donating for a huge screen reader which is a very big, if not the most part of peoples user experiences is also something I can understand, as they don't even limit things and do everything for free. But donating to elten in this state and ringing the money bag is not fair as of now.

lol speaking of translations, I don't really get the system of this, like, there are even people in the group who didn't translated something, as far what the translators list says, also the german translation for the changelog is missing, I mean lol I have translated it for fun so I could send it but whatever, not wanna go oftopic again. Just wondering about some group types and how this is actualy organiced.

So what did I exactly say that made you think I insulted you or this project. Plus that smily. Makes no sense. Unless you can't stand critisism which has reasons, therefore I call it improvement suggestions / things that really don't make sense, or need to be changed.

Well, no one is forced to support Elten or other free projects, that's the idea of them being free, isn't it?
But your tone is definitely not appropriate considering your own attitude. If I receive something for free, I have the right to constructive criticism, I have the right not to like a given invention or not to use it. But if I start aggressively criticizing the innovator, reproaching him for not organizing his free time properly and so on, well, something is very wrong.
Elten is not a paid job for me and, quite honestly, such discussions encourage me to give up the project, because I will not receive any gratitude for this work. Fortunately for me and the rest of the community, I see the point of this project.
One more thing, constructive criticism is good and uplifting. I have never hidden in an information bubble. But there are different forms of expressing it and there is a fundamental respect for other people's work.

I don't know what exactly went wrong by some people here, but I saw nothing insulting in the last 20 posts, where did he insulted you, this is a opinion and just because you are fed up of hearing the truth doesn't means you need to point a finger on marc.

And as I sayd, often enough, I do respect that all, but by all respect, somewhere is the point where its just, over, and not useable or in any form practicable anymore, for everyone, including developer and users.

Again I didn't disrespect anything, anyone, or something else that way. My tone may be harsh but this is how I am if things don't change, people break promises, talk a lot, invent more and more things why thing a happened how it did, that is why thing b couldn't be done. Just saying it's good to be honest to yourself. Elten has also limits, ok the basic is free but you get the idea. And I didn't approach you regarding your freetime, but this is common sense. If I don't have time for 1 thing I don't start different things. As you said, it is freetime. And if that all is freetime you may drop some things for a while and fix elten more, you know? And I know how hard these things are, I can't even program. So it's not that. But again with no organization on things I can give them up right away. This is what I definitly experienced myself. Without organization or time it's not worthy for 1 person to just do things and try to get involved in 10 other things, using them as reason for not getting done the first one.

There is some irony in this, because activity on Elten is really high. It focuses mainly on the Polish community and there is no doubt about it at all, unfortunately. But if this program were unusable, a lot would be written about it on Polish-language forums.
And yes, there are bug reports, there are discussions about various problems and difficulties, but no one describes the program as unusable or totaly lagged.

And you constantly point your finger at people who should help. And if I'd program, man I would if I could! But I don't know a single person other than you knowing ruby or rooby or however the spelling is, yet I could make you a big list of names knowing python. All blind people.

Yea, and thats the problem, you are just caring about your polish forum, its mostly completely no matter what goes on in the other language groups, #german, #english, etc. As I sayd went to polish group with a translator and found things I have never heard bevore, and my question is why? Why do you do not care about the other users.
