Greetings everyone. I am having a really big problem with ITunes and my iPhone. I downloaded some custom made ringtones as m4r files, and all of the ones I wanted did not paste correctly. I did have some functioning tones on my phone but the rest of them did not paste and said invalid location. I tryed to paste them a second time but this time it would not work either and there were still some invalid locations. I tryed deletin
g them all today from iTunes with my phone plugged in. they would delete for a second and then go right back to coppying. Anyone know how to fix this because this is very very very anoying. It is really putting me off and I want to try to repaste my ringtones. Oh, and also, now it absolutely refuses to have custom ringtones on there, so please help me with this if you can.

Perhaps you'd like to try recording them with garage band? Itunes is very old at this point and probably soon to be dropped. and garage band has support for making songs into ringtones so it maybe easier that way.

Right, but my issue is, they will not stop coppying and I need to get those ringtones on my phone but now they are completely refusing to go on because probably Itunes is so buggy that it still thinks it is coppying things.

Do you have a back up of your phone from recently? Restore from that if so and then it should stop

Well unfortunately the last device backup was at 10:07 this morning and I had my ringtone issue before this...

I am using my computer to put the ringtones on from a folder of m4r files.

Okay, and have you tried disconnecting? if so, does that stop that or are they already on device and trying to place themselves in an invalid path? Also do you have the latest version of Itunes? It could be because your IOS version has things configured differently than what itunes is used too

Alright, got an idea for you. Unplug it, and go to settings >general >transfer or reset IPhone >reset >reset all settings. This should stop this from happening but you'll have to reconfig siri and a few other things

That's not good. That would usually fix it, how ever because that is not the case, You might want to contact Apple themselves,

When I had custom ringtones, if I swiped up on the ringtone, I had an option to delete it.

Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.
