hey. never useed winn amp so i can't speek on it that much. how ever, i can say that foobar, is the moast amazing media player on this earth. it has everything i'd ever want, mainly because it has addons, or what they call them, foobar components. for example, i have one called foo youtube. wich lets me play, streem, and even, get this, download youtube videos, playlists, and channels, on foobar it self. and guess what? it even has a setting for screen readers.
Some exciting news: Winamp is planning to come up with a new beta version of their player. They are looking for persins who want to be involved in testing their coming beta version. In case some of you are interested, just go to the Winamp Web site and all you have to do is fill out the form with your name and E-mail. So it seems that this looks promissing. I wonder how well it will work with screen readers!
From what I've heard it won't be like the old Winamp, more of a streaming service. The author of the article said he hopes he's wrong, and I have to hope so too. I miss Winamp. I never have like VLC Media Player all that much. I just use it because Winamp doesn't seem to work in its last builds for me or my wife.
