Screen readers

Basically the title says it all. I'm searching for sounds like talkback sounds, voice assistant sounds etc. Some, some of them can be found but there are rarely any working ones I can play. But I heard people having them. Anyone knows where to get some of that? Thanks in return.

TalkBack uses midi files, and you need the appropriate soundfont to play them correctly.

Yup, that's what I thought. But the newer one doesn't seem to use nearly as many of them for example. And with which program could I do that?

Recently I've extracted the sounds from Amazon's VoiceView screenreader, they are in Ogg format. Have fun! 🙂

I think I have some stuff on my external drive, but I can't look for it right now. I will back up the sounds in a feew days maybe to my comp or a cloud or something, but for that time I can't access to my external drive because it has viruses. but I think I have 2 or 3 versions of the talk back sounds, was hard to find. like @radiorobbe sayd, you ned the midi software from android to play it like it sounds on android.

How did you find them though. I think people like techboy have them too.

when you would have commentary screenreader on your android device you could connect your device with your computer and search the sounds there.

You mean the commentary sounds? But then there are also sound themes there which for example have voice assistant and talkback sounds with really almost original vibes. I wonder how it's done there.

yeah, there are the apple and talkback sounds and other stuff, I can send you them, give me a feew mins to make first a db thing on my server and then I will connect my phone to my comp when I find a cable for it.
