Hi guys,
So I have lately been interested in ham radio and things like this.
My friend's dad knows how to do things, but I was wondering your opinions on it, what you use if you even do it, and those things.

Research, watch videos, ask your friend's dad and you'll be on your way. Personally, I don't know anything but this may get you somewhere.
Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.

KD5DDQ here. I have a technician's license. Back in the day it was called tech plus, because I passed the 5-word-a-minute Morse code requirement with ease.

There are many resources for blind hams, something like blindhams.com or net, not sure of that. Your favorite search engine may help.

Aah I remember *enter friend's dad's name here* telling me that you used to need morse code. But luckily you don't need it any more.
Thank god.

To post 7, this topic is about ham radio, so that's the license he's referring to.

Depending on what license you have, there are different frequency privileges that you may transmit on, using various types of equipment and such.

He aksed what the license was for.

Ham radio is simply amateur radio, as opposed to commercial radio.
