Anyone successfully got elten running under wine?

maybe it wnts to tell you, that you don't have voice set, a years ago after first start i had to press enter and choose voice.

So after copying over my appdata elten runs and logs in, but no speech at all. Pressing shift f1 won't do anything, I've pressed it about 5 times and no speech.

Hmm, try removing quickactions.dat file, you could override this hotkey.

But you have interface sounds and you can move around?

Yep, interface sounds work as expected and I can move around, it's just that speech is just not there.

so delete quickactions.dat as pajper said, then relaunch elten and press shift+f1

I'm not seeing it in program files or appdata.

OK, I've fixed it. I had to memorize the arrow key combinations to get to program settings, then voice, then change it to sapi that way. Thanks everyone for the help.

ooh how difficult! is there a way to modify config file to switch to sapi?

When logged in, press alt, press right arrow 3 times, down arrow once, enter, down twice, tab, down arrow to the voice you want, tab until you hear the button sound, tab again and press enter to save.
