A new YouTube downloader

python and youtubedl is the greatest and terminal based!

Accessible YouTube Downloader Pro didn't do wave format either.

I don't like going on YouTube itself, so that's the complaint I have with the add-on.

Then how do you get the URL for download? And what about Elten? Or Pontes media downloader? With elten you don't even need the URL.

Eltens converting is bugged. Sometimes it completely destroyed the video quality or not even saved it properly, or took overly long, but the next time 10 seconds. Dude elten isn't capable enough of that stuff.

I don't have any problems downloading youtube videos from Elten, I did this because so I don't have to use a youtube converter to MP3 on a website.

lol pontes is no webside

and it works well if you arn't that stressed. And you can choose your format and have no ticking in the background etc. It doesn't have ishues that is

Pontes works well but it has problems sometimes. Still though it should be good enough. To be honest, I never used elten to download from youtube, now days I use whether renova music or TCA-MediaDownloader. I have pontes as well so incase if one of them fails to download I use another.

Yeah I tried renova music today. I was very, very critical since this uses bgt but it's much faster than pontes, surprised me to be honest.

In response to Karl, I either use Elten or used Accessible YouTube Downloader till it died, so I didn't need any URL. Now that Elten is my only source, I'll just have to live with its occasional problems.

Yeah. Whatever people say about renova music it's still faster and better especially because you can choose in which format you want to download the video. You can download as mp3, ogg or wav format I believe, or download it as video. But as you mentioned before, since it is in bgt it has that stupid unicode problem which I think you know. So if I search for something in Arabic it shows these letters as question marks. That's the only problem I have with it now, otherwise it's great.

we have youtube by @hermis501! just replace youtube-dl with the newest ytdlp and rename it to youtube-dl and that's all

you don't need to rename anything. it goes with included yt-dlp, but for any compatibility issues i keep the same name as youtube-dl.

To post 35, I tried updating Accessible YouTube Downloader and it crashed with an error and became completely unusable.

Hermis, it didn't update automatically. I got a new ytdlp and put it as youtube dl to the youtube folder.
