Is there any program to compose music?

Is there a basic program with instruments or something i could learn how to create music? I wanted creating or play songs which know and i like, but honestly i want to try.

Hey. if you want to play with midi, you can start from quick windows sequencer. Or, another choice, Reaper. There are no instruments on it, but if you would manage to know it, you could find vst instruments and experiment on those. Of course it's a headache to find something screen reader friendly, but old and still working cakewalk studio instruments pack is accessible.

Also labs by spitfire audio are great, but their app is a pain in the arse, sadly, and you have to use a reaper preset library, so it's not really that starter friendly.

There's also this thing called MidiText but I don't what exactly it does and how it is used. And then there's SynthFont but I don't know much on how to use it either.
