Yeah, you're right. We must wait a bit of time or at least, yeah, a bit of time until NVDA add-on developers make their add-ons compatible with the newest version of NVDA. Since Python 3 came in, most of the add-ons are not compatible. So we need to wait until they make them compatible. So that's it for now, sadly. Until then, I won't upgrade my NVDA, I guess. Like two weeks ago, I downloaded the beta version of NVDA 2019.3, but I realized that most of my add-ons don't work. So I just downgraded back to NVDA 2019.2 So yeah, I guess we should wait a bit of time until they fix their problems and after that, I guess or I really hope it will be fine.

yes I think I will downgrade as well because my add-ons are disabled and I don't like that man it's just the the problem with it is that I don't have clip copy I mean the speech viewer or how it's called and other stuff like like NVIDIA remote I have heard that there is I have heard that there is new working on NVIDIA remote or maybe it's already out but I don't know at least like most of my add-ons are disabled and I don't like that so I'm gonna downgrade as well I think

And that, is why you shouldn't do this.

Guys, you don't have to downgrade. NVDA remote has just been updated to support the latest version. Yeah, it has been updated. Just install the NVDA add-on updater and it's going to find the new version when you're going to check for updates for the add-ons. And yeah, that add-on updater is very good. It does the job well. So yeah, you don't have to downgrade. Also, speech history is coming in a few days. So yeah, it's going to be fun.

When you're stuck, just try harder.

Yes, but the only problem is that the add-on updater cannot update itself when it's incompatible. So, I didn't know that the add-on updater also got an update to Python 3. Because, um, yeah, that's just some stupid thingy with the add-ons right now in NVDA. I just downgrade it until all the add-ons I need are in Python 3. If they're not, I will keep using this version until it gets unsupported and until I'm gonna miss other great features. So, I... I will keep an eye on the NVDA add-ons list and, yeah, I hope all the add-ons, I mean, most of the add-ons will come back or someone will, unless someone will just update them because I don't like this kind of changes.

And that, is why you shouldn't do this.

So, what did I have to say about this? I don't even know why did you took such an old post out. Like I said, it's not my problem, but I just don't know why did you do this. And, what else? When I listened to this audio a few years ago, because it's so old now, or, you know, hell old, sorry for my English, but, you know, it's not my native language. I listened to it, and what I thought at the end is that Tyler Spivey did something malicious to them, and now, from the post of Charlie Murray, I guess that wasn't the case. Because, it looks like Tyler wanted to help Ivan, or something, to, you know, freeze their computers to make them disconnect, probably. And, that's what had happened. So, yeah. And, also, regarding the newest NVDA update, I don't have any add-ons, so, yeah. I don't use any add-ons, at least for now. So, I just use NVDA as it is. And, the only add-on I would use, if I wouldn't have Windows 10, is OCR, but even there, I just don't need to use an add-on for OCR, because Windows 10 has it built in. So, yeah, I don't need it. But, yeah, I think that's it. Sorry for my English. If you didn't understand me, just, you know, PM me, or send me a post regarding this here, or whatever. Whatever you want, so. Yeah. See ya.
