Oh, how did you make it do that?

Ah right. So you just made them harmonize like that. There was one guy on YouTube who could make ESpeak sing and pitch it exactly to a midi song, but also just with ESpeaks pitch.

Are you sure it was just a case of setting the pitch and inflection to 0? It sounds vocoded.

It seriously sounds like as it was vocoded, so Seedy has a valid point there. If you say it wasn't though, I believe you and accept your statement. On the other hand, please, please keep your tone calm. Once this goes into personal attacking territory, we will have to deal with the situation. This is neither your blog, nor a playground. Thanks for understanding. :)

Didn't use any vocoders. Yes, I am sure I didn't use any. I swear I didn't use any vocoders! This was the best I could do with GoldWave's doppler effect.

It was simply a question of confirmation, since it did have that nice vocodey type effect to it. I actually like vocoding. I have eSpeak set as my NVDA synth, with inflection set to 0, with the pitch set to 20 for the C2 key, but I can't seem to produce the same effect. What varient did you use? I'm using Max.

I didn't use a single variant and don't unfortunately remember what they were. Since the voices have their own pitch specified among their parameters, not all voices actually produce the same pitch if you set the pitch to the same value in the NVDA voice settings. Some voices have a higher pitch and I use them to get higher notes. Some I use for lower ones. And then I panned the different recordings to get something like a choir. I also like vocoders and know what they do but don't know how to use them and don't have a midi keyboard.

Ok, I think it's also part of ESpeaks sound, especially when you do harmonizing, that it sounds vocoded.

It does but I had already said I hadn't used any vocoders. I guess my previous posts have been explanatory enough so I don't want to continue arguing on the matter or explaining my points over and over.

Of course, I believe you. I just wanted to clarify where this perception most likely comes from.

I'm on the runway, ready to get into the airplane. I'm in the plane and I am going to try to fly this thing. I'm sitting in one of the comfortable seats. Oh, yeah, my seatbelt. Well, let's see what the instrument panel says. Ah, screw the instrument panel. I'm blind anyway, so I can't read it. What does this button do? Oh, shit. Oh, well, here are the pedals and here is the joystick. Nothing to this. Well, here goes. I'm going to try to take off now. Coming flight 116. You are not authorized for takeoff. I repeat, you are not authorized for takeoff. Please exit the plane immediately. Ah, fuck off. It's working. I'm actually flying a plane. Whoever said that blind people couldn't fly? I think I will try a nice spotlight while I fly. This is fantastic. I don't care about the rules on this flight. I am, after all, the pilot. What is that alarm beeping? Oh, well, I'm sure it's nothing. Pressure coffee. Pressure coffee. Oh, shit. Oh, my fucking God. I think we are going to crash. You're down today. Yup. Pressure coffee. Pressure coffee. Pressure coffee. Pressure coffee. Nant, it's me- ... ...

Okay, I reattached Pulse 14 because on Pulse 14, that airplane speech synthesizer one only lasts a minute, and now because the time limit is lifted, I can reattach this recording. So, yep.
