So, do you guys care about music in games? Do you have any iconic game soundtrack that you can not live without? Doesn't matter if the game is mainstream or an audiogame.
Yup, soundtrack is one of the main factrs for me alongside the story. 1. Hades. 2. Sequence Storm 3. 1942 4. Legend Of The Moon 5. Sword & Shadow Love 6. Misty World 7. Gothic / Gothic II 8. Witcher I to Witcher III.

Yeah, it has an important role for me as well. Mostof my friends mute the sountracks as soon as they hear them, but for me it's also a part of a game and a game wouldn't be the same without music composed specially for it. Honestly, I don't really have any favourites, but I like what they did with the Final fantasy series, 1942's main theme and Slay the Spire.
Ori and the Blind Forest Doom 2016 DOOM Eternal killer instinct season 1, 2, also 3 but I don't remember it that much subnautica Cyberpunk 2077 fallguys (all the different season flips and edits) A Plague Tale: Innocence all of the souls games I also love all of the witcher soundtracks, Kingdom Come, mafia soundtrack is legendary and from our waters, I have to mention bk 1 2 3 for sure, sequence storm with some certified bangers, ahc also slaps! I really have to play more mw to somehow rate it, I absolutely loved the soundtrack in some places, but sometimes it was kinda strange and I just had to mute it in order to enjoy the game. More later :D
hello I think that music is very important in games, it can help you deeply dive into game atmosphere. The most good example of it for me is the last of us series, those games would not be so cool without their music, which makes up 50 percent of the entire atmosphere and drama of these games, but i mute music sometime in the action seens when i need to concentrate more on a gameplay in difficult fights for example. I love music from lots of games: for blind its the whole bk games and the first manamon game, the second one have less good music imho. For sighted its the doom 2016, whole killer instinct games soundtracks, wolfenstein 2014 and the wolfenstein II the new colossus. As i wrote above the last of us series, cyberpunk 2077, hades, and maybe some more which i can't remember now. Also, i like music from old consoles. 8bit systems nes and 16bit sega mega drive and the super nintendo, this list is very big, for example mega man series, games from Sunsoft (Journey to Silius, batman games what they made for nes, Gremlins 2: The New Batch), final fantasy 1 for nes, castlevania games for nes smd and snes, also i like music from contra series, up to contra Hard Corps - Uprising which was released in 2011, and the last one is the angry video game nerd adventures soundtrack which is in 8 bit stile is sooooo cool and i recommend to hear this for all who likes chiptunes and 8bit stile music. Thats not all, but all what I remembered now.
I can't play any games with music in the background. It's distracting to me. I always mute the music. I like to focus on the sounds more than the music.
For me, it depends on the game. Street Fighter 2 has a fantastic sound track that I'd gladly listen to non-stop for an entire year! However, with audio games, I like to have the sound track either turned way down or muted completely. I can't focus very well on the game when the music is turned up really loud.
How do you reboot your computing machine? You put your feet through the computer screen!
You know, soundtracks are mostly unreasonable to me, including those in movies. Some I definitely like but in real life you're not supposed to have any of them as you fight or do any other activity. So what's the point of having them in games or movies if they are intended to be as realistic as possible? Surely they help you immerse yourself in the atmosphere but I often mute them, also to better concentrate on gameplay.
The thing is that not many things can happen in real life as they do in a movie or a game. I mean, imagine a spiderman action in real... Or let's fight with lightsabers in real... Ehm or let's wave our wands and accio! I don't even try to imagine these scenes in real life because I know it's impossible. A soundtrack creates a special atmosphere for everything, be it a movie or a game. And most of the composers do absolutely well I think, see John Williams, Brian Tyler, or Hans Zimmer for example. Even if you have never seen any of the films they composed the soundtracks for, you'll immediately know what it is by listening to any of their music.

I Personally love the audio game soundtracks from manamon, both 1 and 2. For sure. Not all of them but there really are nice ones, happy ones, sad ones, some to just sit and think, its all in there.
I usually turn down the music when I play games, it's hard for me to listen and play at the same time, but I do like some game soundtracks, I will list a few that I like.
1, AAC 2, Manamon. 3, Manamon2. 4, JudgmentDay. 5, Crazy Party. 6, Q9 7, Paladin of the sky. 8, rs games
