Oh, sorry, my bad.

Nuno, yeah, that's understandable this way.

None of my PCs are compatible with Windows 11 according to the health check tool... or are they? I have a little trick up my sleeve.
How do you reboot your computing machine? You put your feet through the computer screen!

Yesterday, Microsoft launched the first version of Windows 11. Of course, only those who are involved in the Windows insiders program are able to download, install and try it. A screen reader demo has been posted on Youtube. To listen to it do the following:
Open the Youtube program in Elten and in the search box type the following: "Windows 11 screen reader demo". Happy listening!

So, I suppose YouTube isn't working because I just got load more when I put in the screen demo thing, which I copied from the previous post.

No, it's not Youtube. The poster put two Youtube clips on Youtube. One is working; the other is not!

#27

All I get is load more so I get neither post.

I eventually got it to work. I probably copied in the quotes and they aren't needed.

The PC health app which Microsoft launched last week isn't working propperly at all! Microsoft already apologized for this. Microsoft will bring out a more appropriate one near the end of this summer. So it could be that computers which are older than 2018 would be able to install and run Windows 11.

I don't understand MS at all! WHat is so hard in creating a requirements checking utility? I could roll own my own in an hour.

You do not need to be a windows insider. You can go use their uupe dump and make an iso of the items in the folder that it makes in it's folder called isofolder. I used iso workshop but you can use anything. Don't create an iso of the folder, select all things in the folder and then create it. I tried it and it runs pretty well. I don't really like the new start menu, it has a bad interface. They took all this pc stuff away, so you're going to have to get used to pressing windows e. I didn't test the search with the windows 10 start menu, but I am going to try it out today.

My computer doesn't meet the requirements according to microsoft. Just got a mail from them. Due to this, they moved me from the beta channel to the release preview channel.

#33

Then you should check to see whether there is an update.

#34

Windows 11 is on the dev channel.

What does this help? My PC doesn't meet the requirements, so there's no way I get windows 11. I also checked in the insider settings, the only thing I can select is the release preview channel.

#36

Well what I did is got the files from a UUPE dump and then made the iso out of the folders and then made a windows to go out of that onto an external hard drive or flash drive 32gb or more.

Whats wrong with your computer? I mean, what's the unmet requirement?

They didn't go into detail, but I know for a fact that TPM is missing for me, as I checked if I have TPM.

#39

I know this about newer computers, about 2017 and newer. All processors from about 2018 and later have TPM 2.0 on the intel side, and they probably have it for 2015 and later too, so sixth and seventh gen might or might not have it. Eighth and later are guaranteed to have it, and all Ryzen processors have it. You just need to go into the bios and turn it on.

If you have a tower you can still look in the BIOS.
