the idea. SOmehow turn a raspberry pi, 3 or 4, maybe 0 even, into a hardware synth. It could have 3 modes. Standalone mode, where it's it's own notetaker and stuff. A USB mode where text can be sent to it through standard USB. And the third is to have an emulated serial mode. Since the pi4 has USBC, just plug it into a macbook directly, with a speaker connected to the pi, and when the pi boots it says ready, defaulting in hardware synth mode. You can then send data to it as if it were a serial synth. Could this be possible? It's a cheep way to have your own custom hardware synth, I guess. Then, you could use SAM, the original SAM from the 80's, with NVDA or even window eyes or dosbox.
