Back to Computers and Technology#41 MayowaArogundade
decided to put some soundthemes for the navsounds addon to those that don't like the default ones, including some I've made

Speaking of sound addons, I should probably look into Unspoken NG and maybe make sound themes for that thing.
#44 fire
these arent addons though?
#45 Mckensie
- actually, We do have Piper Alexa for NVDA.A (Jacobww3):
absolutely. 100 percent agree with you. And the Siri voice as well as the Google and amazon alexa voices.

Hello everyone! So, I know this might partly be violating rules, but, you know what? Scrue it! Alex modded this addon, so maybe it doesn't count, and Alex, I don't think you'll mind it. Acapela TTS by galaxia, was updated to work with the latest version of NVDA! You can get it from galaxy4productions.com, or you can get it here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cuzVpe3a2pUS5EdYmjVw_Bzv7JFcQREl/view?usp=drive_link

Sorry to put it like that, but nobody cares about Alex' personall opinion or wether he likes it or contributes at it or not. If it violates the rules, it does that regardless of outstanding factors of the administrator, who is supposed to make no exceptions or personal preference.

Can you please explain what is different with this version of acapela compared to the standard acapela addons?
#51 MayowaArogundade
this version of acapela relies on infovox and I think it was ported from sapi to NVDA, I'd have to ask alex how he did it again
#52 Mckensie
Not only that but it's a bit different. You don't need a license for it as it's already done. Even Alex agrees that technically it's not violating any rules, because it's an addon he recoded. Sort of.

At the point it asked me to go through my firewall, I don't really think it's something secure
"As I watch this generation try to rewrite history, one thing I'm sure of is that it will be misspelled and have no punctuation."
#54 Jacobww3
I had no problems at all with it.
#55 Jacobww3
You know what I realized? You can't find some voices like Acapela's will far away, up close, bad guy, happy, and pirate. And when you look on the voice list to download from Acapela, Heather is not there. Yet heather is in this one. I don't get it. Is there something missing here?
#56 MayowaArogundade
no because infovox 3 and 4 had those voices and I don't know if you can still get the infovox engine for sapi5 or anyware else, maybe someone has an archive of it
#57 Mckensie
-t probably works still, even though a notification popped up. It's not blocking it, on my part it isn't. I (ArcticMoon):

That's because this is infovox 3.
#59 ArcticMoon
Pity there are only english voices in this one...

I was a little disappointed about that. I love learning new languages and one thing I like to do is to test all languages with every TTS I can.
