I strongly advise you to make your server account based as soon as you can. By making it public, you're allowing anyone and everyone to jump in there at any time, and you have no idea what type of people they might be. It's like building a house with no windows or doors and moving into it. If I'm an armed robber and I see that insecure, wide open house, it's not gonna end well for you, is it?
