yea, go under program menu, install programs, than choose youtube and press enter, than find install again or something like this.

I like the clock sound; I always like to have some form of progress indicator. I'll try the new update and see if it works for me.

Ah okay. Was under the impression it was elten, not the youtube programme. A small confusion on my part. Will look in to it. The youtube programme that is.

hello everyone. from what I understand from this little youtube problum, basicly the youtube API isn't qwite working. I used to have a addon for the foobar audio player that'd let me play and download anything from youtube, as well as sign in and edit things, and the foobar settings would be saved as well. anyways, the youtube API, wich youtube normally uses has changed the way it works, as well as revoking any currently existing API keys. The only way I was able to combat this problum, was to use the old, and slow, how ever still working, youtube DL, and force it to work with foobar via settings and youtube source. anyways, off topic. I'm not qwite sure what youtube is doing, but I think they are re branding something or fixing something to work with something else. not sure.

The main thing to remember is to update YouTube. The only way at present to know if there's an update to the YouTube program in Elten is to go to programs, programs installation and go through the list you have installed. If a new program exists you'll hear the new sound informing you of it. It will say reinstall when you hit enter on it. Do that and you'll have the latest version.

I got this error. A Yani video had no sound and I was skipping through it, then I got:
Script 'Bass{eapi}' line 460: TypeError occurred.
no implicit conversion from nil to integer

I have somewhat the same error with some Youtube videos; not with all. Most of all with videos that have a long duration.

The same video played the second time I tried it. I did have to restart Elten though as that error crashed me out.

This happends to me now and then. Sometimes a video won’t play. Or I get a long error message. I usually end up restarting elten. This happends quite rarely.

I'm getting it too on some videos.

Hi, I tried to do a search. I got, this programme has stopped working. On another note, I’ve noticed youtube videos take longer to download, and when I cancil the download, I find that the video has already downloaded, at other times not. I mean, the download doesn’t always complete. Anyone had similar issues?
#32 railwayguy
Yes, I can confirm this.

There's a new version of YouTube which seems to work better, but I got the following error after playing a certain video:
Script '___' line 0: NameError occurred.
undefined local variable or method `estreams' for Program_Youtube:Class
Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3Y9sp3u444

I got it too, on a different video, so it seems to happen randomly, or something.

It happends for me too. And sometimes the videos will stop playing and then start again after 10 to 20 seconds. And I know 1 thing, it has nothing to do with my internet connection.
