General translation method changes

Hi all!
As of Elten 2.3, a lot of mechanisms will be changed, including translation system.
So I'm creating this thread to inform about them and ask Who actually is or wants to become a translator and to what language, because I feel a bit confused not being sure who does what.
So, please write in this thread who is or would like to be responsible for what language, including obviously any theoretical new translations.

In some days I'll write here some details on new translation system.

I do not know if you heard about it, so I advise any translators to familiarize with it. ;)

I know PoEdit and used it for some NVDA-Addons wich i liked to translate.

Yeah, thanks for that so much, man! Po edit is damn comfortable. In fact, that's been my proposition for a while now. If it's ok for you other guys, I would like to translate Elten to German, may be with some assistance from Eric here, but I don't think Karmien would like to do it now because of the extra tool he has to install, :D
I might be wrong there, but I think you said that in one of our Elten chats.
If my confidence about French has grown enough, I might also do a French one, but that will take still quite a while I suppose.

Actually, it is me who is responsible for French now, but the terminology is still to advanced for me, so I'm going to put all my efforts on it a bit later, at holiday time, propably. :) I don't want to give up - I only need some more time to deal with it and I promise the french translation will be completed. If there is anyone who can collaborate, that's great - we can share the whole work!

I wonder what this new translation system will do as to the present files in the lng folder.

@ Julitka: yeah, I just remembered after writing this post. After all, I'm not the best French speaker in the world and your native language is Polish, so this makes it very easy for you. However, I don't know whether the main language will become English or if it still remains in Polish.

I intend to use msg codes instead of translating exactly a polish or english text.
Examplily, msg_reply would represent polish odpowiedz and english reply.
It is the best way to translate Elten to languages using unicode, since Elten won't have supported it by 3.0

I'm willing to translate elten to serbian language. I don't know poedit yet, but I'm willing to learn it and begin on translating elten.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me privately.

In the near future I intend to publish an illustrative example of translations for the Polish language.
So I am asking for a final declaration of who is going to take care of it, because before Elten 2.3 I should have the existing languages to poedit system converted.

I translate to german, i think you translate to polish, right? Hopefully we gett new languages in the near future.

I cannot see any mistakes, there were three or four typos, but I've corrected them.

I am willing to translate elten into Turkish but do we need to know Polish or can we translate from English?
