Hello, this is arthur formerly known as the_saint on klango, derrick also. Many things happen to me since last time I was on klango but it's not the proper place to tell you. On to my topic. I used google chrome for over a year. I'm on windows 7 still. recently, I have not been able to navigate with arrows on it. does anyone have a tip on how I can restore it to normal?

What screen reader are you using? I use NVDA on windows 7 professional 64 bit, and chrome works very well.
#3 the_saint
Yes, I use the same thing as you do. there may be something changed in thechrome settings that I don't know. It's really adbecause there are thns at work with chrome wichexploder doesn't do

You cannot navigate documents with the arrow keys? Thats odd indeed. May be go away from it and then back again, or go into the NVDA menu and then back, I don't know.

I can't navigate with the arrows but the strange thing is that I could before. there's still mozilla firefox but it's not as powerful as chrome.

You are running the latest NVDA version, aren't you? I would suggest uninstalling either Crome or NVDA completely withouth leftovers with an uninstaller like geek or revo uninstaller 1.9.5.

I use Firefox for my bank's website, but otherwise I use Internet Exploder. It fills my needs, so far, and it is the only browser I know of that makes a sound when a download is complete.

Yes, chares, I think I'm going to stick with those and abandon chrome. I tried everything and can't solve the problem

Some websites have stopped, or will stop, support, for good old Internet Exploder, and I will definitely be sad when that faithful browser no longer works for anything.
Ah well, the only constant is change.

I use both Firefox, as well as Chrome.
I even work with Chromium OS.

Hi. It's Thierry here; the old Kelsey from Klango.
Concerning Google Chrome, it's a nice browser and I don't have any problems with it, even with using the arrows.
I'm using the latest version of NVDA and also Windows 10; although I still prefer the Internet Web browser, as long as we are able to use it.
And by the way, Elten works perfect with Windows 10.

Hello mate. Unfortunately, no luck so far.

Well that's strange!
