• A sighted partner will often have assumptions and act more as a protector or guide, than a girlfriend or boyfriend, at least most sighted folks with such mentalities would.

What is the worst thing about being blind. Your opinion:

• If you want to meet someone in person, you have to ask someone to drive you midway. In the case of being younger, that is most likely your parents, and in my case I don't want them seeing my online life because I like to keep it seperated from my real life.

• not being able to play cool sounding video games, or being able to get yourself a car and drive where ever you want

how is your relation with canes, dogs, and all that stuff they want blind people to have?

• I don't want to get a dog. I don't have to take my cane on a walk. I don't have to take out to use the bathroom. It doesn't shed fur. It diesn't bark, but it can't pick up items for me. But I can't fit a guide dog in a backpack or put it on the plane without a form saying that it is ok for me to bring this animal. But the dog would make a better weapon if I were in danger. I might be able to do somethin with the cane, but the dog with it's intelligence, it can bite and it can scratch. I can hit people with my cane, but that is not as good. I think that the cane is better ecause I don't havew to take care of it and it doesn't cost half as much as taking care of a dog.
