Are VST plugins accessible at all? I've never seen any plugin with an accessible GUI. From my experience the accessibility depentds on the VST host. If the host allows bypassing the plugin GUI, you cann access the parameters directly. Reaper/Osara provides this option, and also Audacity is able to access the plugin parameters and presets directly.

I have both programs, Reaper and Audacity, how to do it with Audacity?

I'm not sure since I don't use it that often. Try selecting a VST effect' and click the manage menu button. You should find an options dialog where you can adjust plugin behaviour.

Ok, I tryed it in Reaper, but most of the edit fields are unlabled.
And that, is why you shouldn't do this.

If you have Osara installed you can press P to get a more accessible parameter list.

What audio editing software are you looking for VSTs for specifically? I have a set of VSTs for GoldWave that include reverb effects and some autotune/pitch correction stuff.
How do you reboot your computing machine? You put your feet through the computer screen!

Can we not use the VST's with any DAW that supports them?
Well, I also do use GoldWave, and I would appreciate if you could somehow either share the plug-ins here or send them to me privately. I also have some, and I may consider sharing them if I can archive them in an organized manner.
