Hey guys, this is Sean. Excuse my voice. My throat is not doing so well right now. But I have been trying and trying to get someone on Twitter, get someone on some different forums online. And I've even emailed the company. I think it's Harman Audio Company that makes, that's the bigger part of Soundcraft Audio. I have the Soundcraft Signature MTK, which is multi-track 12, which is 12 tracks. It's an analog mixer. As it says in the subject post or the thread. But I have an issue. There are so many knobs and so many little, I forget what they're called, these little square buttons. You push them in. And they stay in. And then you push them in again and they come back out. But there's so many of both the buttons and the knobs. I can't really understand how to maneuver everything. Because this mixer is very advanced for only being 550 bucks. But it can, it has 12. It's a multi-track USB support. So basically, when you plug it in via USB with the driver that you have to install, it acts as a multi-channel sound card as well. So you can actually have your screen reader on one channel. uh your music beds coming from an audio player on another channel um some game it's some game audio whether it's a video game or an audio game on another channel and you can with the mixer itself you can physically use the faders and turn up the volume of each of those channels and it will do the same for the digital side of the system on the computer um you can also pan those things you can add an effect to something if you want uh it's it's really nice and i'm wanting to set up everything in order to do this but i don't quite understand it because you have to chain things together uh to make it work properly and i don't i guess i can't really understand the concept of it yet as i've never used one before all the mixtures i've had before have been pretty simple the last mixer which i still have right now is the uh elisa's um multi-mix eight which is a eight track mixer with a uh with a multi uh uh with a little effects board and i think it's got uh 12 or 16 effects this new one has effects as well uh but it's it's actually got some better effects really nice effects it's pretty unique um but if anybody has used this mixer it's been around for five years because it was actually it's been around for almost six years because it was least in the second half of 2014 I believe if I'm not mistaken but if anybody has used one of these mixers in the past and has knowledge on it would you please please send a message back here and maybe we can you can either explain things and I can listen to the recording or if you'd like we can connect via whatsapp or something even team talk I can get you on a channel or I can come to a channel of your choice if you want a server sorry so we can discuss this because I'm not getting any help I've emailed the company themselves to explaining that I'm visually well that I'm blind and that I appreciate that the mixer is all analog it's great I just don't understand how to chain things together to make it work right because there's two groups you can have groups on there as well two groups on the 12 track there are four groups on the 12 track there are four groups on the 12 track there are four groups on the 12 track there are four groups on the 12 track there are four groups on the 22 track version of this picture yes 22 tracks there's a few more things on the 22 track version I think there are more stereo channel as well because there's 10 more channels added in this thing But it's a really, it's a really crazy mixer and it's really unique. I have gotten audio out of it but, now this is interesting. And I was messing with the effects part of the board and the fader that I was, is supposed to change volume is changing the effect. How much of the specific effect should come into that channel. And so I think I routed something wrong. So again, I'm a bit confused on. How to control this thing properly. So again, if anybody's got any clue on how to work this thing, please let me know. I'd really love to get some help on this thing. I bought it because I can use it with Reaper. I can use it with, I want to start a podcast. I used to have a weekly podcast quite a few years ago. And I want to start up another. So yeah, if I can get this thing going, then hopefully we can get things really going. Maybe I can start doing some YouTube live streams too because I'd love to do that, stream stuff on YouTube. Anyway, everybody take care. Thank you for listening to the long message. I am just trying to. Sort of desperately needed needing help with this thing. And if anybody out there is able to, I would most appreciate it so much. Because again, I'm just I'm not finding any help anywhere. As far as. As far as. A blindness point of view towards the mixer. I'm seeing a lot of things. I did wise. But it's not helping me because I say, well, we're going to press this here and this here. Well, okay. But what is it, you know, which button are you pressing? Which knob are you turning? You know, they don't explain those things. They just show you what the camera doesn't help. Anyway, take care and thanks for listening. Bye for now. Bye. Bye. Bye.
