Installed the beta as well, and everything is fine. However, defender started to think the newer betas are risky. This thing started at like beta 38 or something. Firstly chrome asks if I really want to keep the file, and when I start the setup, it asks again. Hopefully it won't go like the BGT games.
Nothing to worry about. The reason you have this with Google Chrome is because the Chrome Web browser Wants to be safer in what you are downloading and it can't recognize where Elten is coming from.
Yes, that was my conclusion too, because Defender always wanted to make sure, but Chrome also wanting to make sure is a recent thing indeed, but I guess this is a Chrome thing that has been introduced lately and not Elten getting more unsecure.
I'm a die-hard Internet Explorer user and I don't get any flack from unfamiliar downloads. I basically ignore the prompt to remove it from the list and carry on as I normally do. Defender is silent about Elten so far.
Oh, I get that prompt with every executable file. It says something like this program isn't commonly downloaded and may harm your computer. I can't count the ones I've received that on.
Meanwhile, I don't see any significant bugs in this beta. I don't blog so I can't attest to the apostrophe bug I've read about.
