Yo guys, it's Lucy here. I'm using Google Home for a year and something. I also had
Amazon Alexa. I gave it to my sister recently, some weeks ago. I liked it, I can't say, but
I'm such a shame that the Diddy skill disappeared, like dedicated Alexa users know. Yes, about
the Google Home, there's very, very good thing that it doesn't wake up whenever. The wake
words for Alexa, I think they are not so inspired, because if you say Alexa, either as a name,
either as her name, it's going to wake up, and its wake up sensitivity is way too high.
Plus, you might also say Amazon.
And either you refer to the river, either to the website, either to the company itself,
it doesn't matter, it will start. Also with computer, who would use computer as a wake
word for Alexa, really? And Echo, I don't know, you might say Echo system, Echo itself,
and stuff like that. So no. About Google Home, I like the fact that I can use my YouTube Premium
subscription, which you cannot use pretty much with Alexa. I love Song Quiz, I love I'm Feeling
Lucky trivia, I love riddles, I love the noises she makes, the things she does when you tell her
to tell you a story, to scare you, to sing a song, to do stuff. And it's also a very, very good
information source, because it's using Google's search engine. Other things you can do, there are
a lot of games, there are a lot of interesting things. She has also a couple jokes. Talking
about beatboxing and stuff like that, Alexa is much advanced, and I love Alexa's songs better
than Google Home's, so yeah. The Google Home mini has quite a decent volume, but
the Nest is much bassier, and it has a little bit volume boost as well. I don't know, I love the
secret trapdoor to the Echo.2nd gen, like the second generation, that even if it says it has a
10 volume scale, you can also say volume 11, and that's cool. So yeah, this is my review. I hope
I was helpful. Ah, and also, the UK adapter, because it's on three feet, it's a little bit much
sturdier than, like, it's sturdy, instead of the, like, the Echo US adapter. Because I had to use
some string and some stuff to just stick it in place to the charger, because it was always
pulling off and breaking. I
even changed an adapter for that, because it broke and it didn't work anymore. So yeah,
take care of your adapters, take care of your speakers, and take good care of yourselves. Bye.
