I need a good high quality voice for nvda but i am not a real big fan of vocalizer voices, well, I don't know, maby because I have been hearing them ever since I was six when I got my first ipad mini?
I need something more higher quality, like any siri voices. I understand if they can't be gotten for nvda, but maby something will show up in the near future... Anyone?

It is an offline AI. AI can run even on mobiles, just it must have enough power. For siri, no superpowerfull servers required.

it is even possible run whisper.cpp's tiny model offline on a raspberry pi microcomputer. it'd be a bit slow but anyway.

@post62 well especially in recent versions of iOS it often crashed my vo and lagged the heck out of my phone so... Could be some cash it's using for stuff if that's true, no idea.

I seached google, but there are only some fomum topics like quora where people say that there's no way tu use Siri voices with NVDA. In this forum I read about people using it so I asked.

um, when in google it stands that there is no way, why do you ask here then. elten is probably 1000 times smaller than google. and also agree to post 72 though

I posted because someone in this thread talked about it. He said that it works perfect for him.

By the way, Siri voice 1 is Aaron, voice 2 is Simone, voice 3 is Damon, voice 4 is Nora, and voice 5 is Quinn

okay but what it brings you to have the names.

Nothing, the Siri voices used to glitch out in iOS 17 betas and say their actual names, but if you want to look at a Siri voice, create a new activity and set the voice to one of the Siri ones and you'll see the name instead of Siri voice whatever for some reason

The non-AI versions are still typical Vocalizer voices so they could still be obtained, at least on older versions of iOS or any other operating system having them. By the way, you do have AI variants of US voices, but this is not the case for other languages and even other dialects of English, at least on my own device.
