Thanks to a developer by the username of yplassiard (as an alternative method for brosing non-enlish forums for example), you can now use an add on called nvda-translate, which in turn Makes NVDA itself auto translate any spoken text to the desired language, without needing to copy it to the clipboard first.
Press NVDA+Shift+Control+T, to toggle the add on's functionality on/off.

Considering that the Elten web pages do not have an English site still, this add on makes up for it.

Learn more and grab your copy, by visiting

https://github.com/yplassiard/nvda-translate

NB. This add on is currently not available on the official NVDA Add Ons Community site for some reason, though there isan official page for it on the NVDA French web site.

For users of NVDA 2019.2 (who just can't get away from the gigantic collection of Addons from the python 2 Era),), grab the version marked 2019.09.3. For users of NVDA 2019.3 and later (the Python 3 Era), grab the version marked 2020.01.

For yall convenience (if viewing this thread via the Elten Network Windows Client), tab once to download the appropreiate version for your needs.

thanks for reading, and enjoy!

To the last two posters, yep? You're both correct!

Later on today, I'll update the top post adding the words, "As an alternative", to make it more clear, in addition to fixing some spelling mistakes.

Well I just tried this NVDA add on to translate Web sites. It's great but there is just one thing; I can't use the letters Y and z. When I press y, it says, "end" and when I press z it says, "from", as long as the translation is enabled.

#8

yep, and if you have a slow connection it can be very laggy, one day i had slow net and acsidentally enabled it, it was a mess, i shoul say.
When you're stuck, just try harder.

#9

The reason why it was slow was this:
When you enable the translation, it takes a couple of seconds to do the translation.
It must also be said that this translation add on works perfect with the Elten client program. For instance, when I go into the Polish forum, and then go to a forum thread and open it, after I have enabled the translation add on, the forum posts are translated almost perfectly into English.

Yep.

It's not really meant to be used for typing while it's running. Thus why there is atoggle.
Glad it's working for what yall need it or.

I don't usually read texts in languages I don't understand, but for the Elten website this comes in hamdy as I have no knowlwdge of Polish. Thanks to developers and contributors.

Is there an add-on for translating reception dropout to English? I could really do with one for these gramatical dumpster fires I keep reading online. Web forums, YouTube comments, guides and articles, you name it.
How do you reboot your computing machine? You put your feet through the computer screen!
