Amazon Alexa

Hi, Here I would like to talk about Alexa with you.
Does anybody of you have a Alexa device or app?
I use the echo dot, before I used Reverb.

i don't like it. i did have an alexa app but it got too annoying for me.

I have the android app. I like it so far, especially the game skills.

I love Alexa. We just put echos in every room of our house, which gives us a lot of cool features. They just came out with an announce feature, that turns the echo in to an intercom. It's a very useful feature, no more yelling up and down the stairs. So glad we have them.

I own an echo dot along with the alexa appp for android. But to be honest, after the first enthusiasm it now is rather a nice toy for me and not of any real use. I sometimes feel silly when talking to computers. Devices with so-called artificial intelligence by far aren't as intelligent as the big tech companies are trying to sell them to us.

My friends always ask me why I sold my girlfriend.

I have some echo devices and the app on iPhone. They are pretty cool but at this point I like the google home devices better just because of the way that they tie in to the google knowledge graph to give you good results when asking questions and also the way they tie in with your google account. but with that being said Alexa is pretty cool too especialy because of all the skills that you can get for it.

Now i.m using the Alexa-app. But i can't start my voice commants with activation words.

how to get alexa without a microsoft store?

You probably can't. Windows 10 isn't all that bad at all though. Just sayin, if you're still holding on to windows 7 or 8 you should really consider upgrading.
