Hi, here, you can share your favourite reaper extensions / rea pack scripts / track and projects templates and everything according to make reaper more accessible and ofcourse more usefull...

#2

Is anyone using reapack? It has some cool scripts to download...

#3

I once used it to download a script that prepares media items for ReaSampleOmatic, can't remember the name right now.

#6

Cool script, ahem I mean...
Hi and welcome, but keep in mind that this is not an introduction topic...

#7

i am looking for some vst's for vocals anybody someting?

#8

You mean vocal processing r something like vocaloid?

#9

like vst's for reaper like compressor equalizer, reverb etc.

Rea eq is enough, stock plugin...

rea verb is a convolution reverb, so if you have responses it should be enough for ya, here's an example...

It's a stock plugin too...

I never compressed vocals with rea-comp, but I gues that it should work...

If you're mixing vocals for EDM / electronic music and maybe for trap, I like to mess with OTT, multiband compressor from xfer records...
It's free btw...
A lot of producers are using it daily...
It's cool for, well, everything...

Hello, I'm also trying to mix vocals. Maybe someone recommends something for blue yeti usb mic that it sounds more studio-like quality? I heart about waves and izotope, but can't find accessible version.

Hard to say what do yyou mean as a stereo like quality... I suggest to remove all the shit in the background using a gate and then messing with comps and eqs... As for mixing, everything is possible with rea stock plugins... Rea tune, reaverb is cool if you have convusignals, and reaeq for sure. I suggest to try OTT, because OOT for eva, and Kilohearts because they are cool... Also some reverb, like the one from kilohearts or I think that izotope has some too...

#14

Thank you so much. I'll try it.

#15

hm, rea stock I can't find, could you provide a link for recommended plugins?

#16

By rea stock I meant the default vsts shiped with reaper, like rea eq, reaverb, reatune etc etc...
Ott is by xfer, you'll find them easily on google.
Kilohearts is a very popular company, try google...

There's a JS effect in the Delay department of ReaPack that just blows me out of the way:
Atlantis Reverb
You can even apply "shimmering" so it sounds like crystals of processing are micro-shifted to different tones.
There's also an included compressor with it if you wanted to use that.

Thx for the tip.
I'll check it tomorrow.
I currently use supermassive by valhalla DSp, really cool free delay / reverb plugin.
Worth for a test.
