Sorry to revive a somewhat dead thread, but I am willing to help out with beta testing, if at all possible. I do not see the beta group listed, I guess it is private? Thanks. Also, haven't seen the person to contact online, so I guess it is a time zone thing.

The beta testing group is private. You have to contact railway guy if you want to be a member of the beta testing group.
If you want to contact the developer of this program, you can send a private message to pajper.

I don't even know if that has been asked or not or even if it's redundant, but as there's text only and mixed voice/text forums, why not ad a voice only forum? I know there was some kind in the past, but somehow it got broked or changed? into something?

They're still available, but a lot of group administrators prefer to create a mixed one.
What if you aren't in the mood of writing but you still want to say something?
What if you can't record any audio for whatever reason?
No idea, but they still are there.

hi, is that possible to save the sound encoding settings for they be applied to every audio/anything that i am going to send?
so far, when i tried it, it worked but with only one message, i am too lazy to change the sound quality for eech message tbh

You can change the recording sound quality before you start recording, I always leave them as the defaults.

Don't know how it works for messages but the settings you apply and save once, should remain as they are, unless you change them again, for forum and blog posts.

Ok, actually a stupid question here, but how do badges work?

GeorgeWu

I think with badges you have to do certain things to get it, almost like trophies on audio games. I don't know about that, I'm just guessing.

that is true. Its basically to have some nice things on your profile there. But you have to get them manually, you sadly do not get them automatically

maybe pajper needs to give them to you? idk

I observed that most of the accounts with badges if not all, have more than 2 years here so idk.

Why, in the newest beta, does it says unticked /ticked item instead of checked/unchecked in the sounds guyde. Ticked, is a bit of a weird word for that I think, so why has that been changed.

I think they're trying to improve the English translation that's just my guess, also I recommend you to join the beta testing group before downloading betas, just ask railway guy.
