That I don't know, but I doubt Microsoft will agree. Also, I wonder where Code Factory stands regarding this matter. You know, they also have their own NVDA add-on and SAPI 5 version with additional languages, meaning that they have also modified the synthesizer in some way and this must have been with some sort of license. -- (bomberman29): does eloquence now belong to ibm?
Oh, where can I find syntalk? When i tried to google it I didn't find anything. Is it still possible to find it? As far as I understand this synth is really old, from 2010 or so. -- (hozosch): @daszekmdn: I know syntalk, too, and I actually like it, with kasia being my favourite voice. And one thing that I find quite neat is, that it kind of can speak german,, but, of course, with a polish accent and it doesn't always get things right.
Well, I found a syntalk, but it had only 2 voices, plus while changing speech rate the pitch was also changing lol. The voice was called syntalk neutral synths.
Oh. Then I will try to use eSpeak and it's Polish, I thought that syntalk could be an alternative for me. As I could already understand with Spanish, eSpeak is not a good choice of speech synth when you are a beginner in a new language. I use acapela ania for voiceDream on iPhone and android, I think I will purchase acapela for nvda some day.
Well, I can tell you that I have Acapela, for NVDA, and as the voice of ela Likes to say, it's "Fabulous". There is actually a link that acapela put that literally shows you all the expressions, exclamations, and even the sounds. I gotta tell you Acapela have outdone themselves. I just wish they would put the missing new voices like will far away and will bad guy. And there is also some new child voices in french, german, and I believe sweetish. Don't Quote me on the sweetish part, but the french and german child voices are for sure there.
