Hi, what you have to do to release some one from the prisn, is select the prison from the missions menu. Once you are in the prison, use bombs to blow down the heavy gatesand use either your knife or a gun if you have it to take down the wood gates.
You could try to set it to be win7 compatible but I don't know if it solves anything.
