Questions, concerns, ideas regarding this group

The thread name is self-explanatory. Any ideas, concerns and questions related to beta testing group can be discussed here.

I think there are two types of problems and suggestions. Let's call it "onetime" and "multiple" (sory, I'm not a native).
I mean, when we suggest something should be translated in other way it was before or that an option shoulod behave differently and there is no chance for anyone for it to behave in different ways, it is not necessary for a resolved issue to stay here for 3 days. It should be resolved immediately after author's confirmation or confirmation of 3 people.
Another thing is when we have to really check if something works in many pc configurations.

Well, for me in general this 3-day limit for resolved threads to stay is too long.

3 days are ok for me, especially when it works automatically.

2 days default and if 3 or more users marked as resolved close directly.

Okay, will test the following: 3 days with 3 confirmations and 24 hours with author's confirmation.

Hm, shouldn't it be reverse? ;) 3 days with author's confirmation and 24 with 3-testers confirmation? Author may be content with the resolution, but other users may face some problems or not be satisfied. 3 testers are more reliable.

Hmm, it depends. But it is common to have a specific issue that author recognises the best or that was observed only by the author, on his/her specific account/computer/configuration. I suggest trying that one: 3 days for 3 votes and 1 day for author's vote. If it proves not the best solution, we can further fine tune it.
