Elten game room

I'm not the author of this project nor its contributor, but as the information was not published here... :)

Elten Game Room, currently under development and in very initial stage, was released by user papierek.

This looks pretty interesting.

Not to be negative, but we have proper, bigger, made for gaming platforms for this. Are we gonna have elten OS within a couple years? I mean at a point you have to clerify what elten is ment for. Then idk why cards in conferences got removed in the first place. If this were connected to conferences or whatever I would've maybe understood it but, dunno. Go download play aural yall.

The only valid reason I can see behind this idea is convenience, just like with calls. I know users who didn't wanna mess with teamtalk and wanted to call in high quality, so they used calls here.

If i'm correct, Papierek wants to add more games than on awailable playrooms so it have sense.

Honestly it's kinda laggy, the computer is done at an instant, and it just has playroom sounds.

Again, playroom is overrated. I'm still talking about playaural. That has great sound design and far more games than playroom at this point, and the existing ones are very fun.
Voice calls and conferences I can understand for the userbase and to ddifferenciate features, but at this point we have 3 big game clients now around the exact same concept, one better than the other.

Sorry but idk if you, urh out of all, are the right one to talk, given your takes and posts on here. concerning at the least, many of them are..

um, where can you even get the elten game room? or how do you use it?

99 is broken, or at least with the computer it is. We could try, maybe if two real people play it won't be buggy.

I tested farkle against the computer to see what it would do, and it takes about 10 seconds to load (and it also takes 10 seconds, for example, to role the dice too.) It would say, updating game, or something before waiting again. Gonna get playoral

@Arctic it's buggy only with computer.

Whenever I try to use the Elten Gameroom it throws the operation couldn't be completed errors in my face.

Instal the nevest version, don't use developer mode.

Oh I have dev mode on because I'm working on something of my own, and I set up the Elten shortcut to always start the program in developer mode, rather than me having to remember to restart it when working on my program.

I'd like 1000 miles. I haven't been to The Playroom in a long time, but when I went there, 1000 miles I often played.
