Does Elten tend to not work in Russia?

Hello! As we all know, some services are being slowed down in Russia. And Elten does work not so well there, according to my friend's words. She turn's on VPN to use Elten I guess. Is it because of some services it uses, or some hosting providers?

As far as I know, Elten should work in Russia without issues, with only exception for payments. I am not sure about translation API, Youtube support etc. But the core functionality should be available without any problems. Please try newest Elten 3.0 beta.

As far as I remember, Pajper once told Elten is being hosted on OVH cloud. I don't know if this information is up to date, but if it is, that might be the reason.

Yes, Elten is hosted in OVH. No Russia bans from OVH I'm aware of, but I might be out of date.
Proxy support in Elten is a good idea indeed.

A lot of services hosted on OVH don't work in Russia unfortunately. I don't live there myself so I have no idea why it happens, but I've been told by several people it's the case.

I guess yes I can access. Just sometimes HTTP requests made by elten are slow that exceed the timeout I guess.

I'm asking because in this scenario we could provide secure Proxy directly by Elten Server or try on another transport layers. You can also try disabling HTTP/2 from Settings. HTTP2 is in general much faster, but it can be some routing issue on some later hardware, including ISP's hardware in case there's any firewall active.

That friend tells me that some errors even occurre in 3-4 seconds on requests.
