Elten now uses a new API, REST/JSON. Due to the need to maintain compliance, for now the performance gain is small, but gradually the API will optimize it.
The old PHP API is still active to maintain compatibility with Elten stable, but it will be disabled after the release of version 3.0. Overall, this will significantly increase the bandwidth and performance of the server.

This API has already been tested by Eltenger since December. It was gradually developed, more information about it can be found on the Elten Development forum. I tried to carry out all possible tests, and I checked some things a dozen times. However, it is still very possible that in an unforeseen scenario, Elten will behave strangely. I would like to ask you to treat this version in this regard as a beta, which can really throw a long written text into space or do something like that.

Forum sorting is quite broken in this version.

I was about to ask how but, um... Yup. No sorting no pinned posts etc seem to be respected.

You also don't have sounds for closed thins in the list anymore etc.

But I can feel the speed increase for sure.

The brackets [] are no longer visible for threads with new messages. Also, the transcription of voice messages now works for free users, thanks.

I have got Beta 10. I'm quite excited.

Okay, my first bug in this version. So when I exit out of a blog post with audio in it, it starts playing audio from another post. I'm not sure how to re-produce this bug though.

Signatures aren't being shown anymore and the timestambs now are differently, not sure if the latter is intended.

Calls are broken, the other person doesn't receive the call and I don't hear the calling sound.

The audio of bog posts is being played when you go over the list. You can also pause it o I guess it's fine if that is intended, if not, well then not.

the audiofile sound on blogs doesn't play so I kinda won't know weather it's a audio post.

Transcription

There were no records of Beta 11 yet, but they decided to reintroduce the F4 bug, where you hit Alt F4 and it opens the message dialog. I would not be surprised if it does this for every other Windows UI element shortcut.

Well, I'm going to leav again because I am done going thouh betas. Lol.
