So I had a call with a friend on the weekend and it worked just fine, it just does not do the ringing sound, however the call goes through.
Elten still also overestimates the length of voice post in a lot of cases by at least 1.5x.
Well. Even though I did what they suggested of opening elten as an administrator, my problem is still not resolved. I think I'll have to give up friends, and wait until the next stable. It's a shame that I didn't find this group before this happened to me, or if I did, report it at the time so that it can be fixed without a problem. but hey, it's okay.
