as the name suggests, what is your view on the notion that blindness is a spectrum? do you think that the legal blind limit should be changed? do you consider people just riding the limit blind? why or why not?

what exactly is your stance on the blindness is a spectrum philosophy?

It is scientificly proven that blindness is a spectrum. It's not that hard to prove. Now I wish I could seak for the limit being changed or not changed, but I've been totally blind my entire life.
I do feel that it's appropriate to share this story here though.
I was in an indroduction to philosophy class last semester. This guy who had guided me before said the following a month in the class "and you know how blind people see in black and white..." I interrupted him right there and said, "Sorry to interrupt but I disagree here."" It was a small class of about twenty-five so it was fine to speak out like that, and I caused the entire class to lose their minds. And thus a conversation about what I did see conspired and me explaining that, one, blindness is a spectrum, and two, I only see light and that color has no meaning at all to me.

@2 well I guess that begs the question: if you could change the limit, what would you change it to?
I think that maybe the term legally blind is a little bit stupid, considering legally blind is I guess basically you can still see but not very good. I don't know what I would change it to but I would at least change the term to legally low vision, because obviously as we know blind is a term for not seeing anything.
meh, it's fine as it is
People keep changing words that don't need to be changed.
