Yes, it's a real shame about Nova. I always enjoyed using it. I've now switched to Lawnchair. It's a good launcher, but it can be prone to crashing. Fossify Launcher could also be good; it just needs some accessibility tweaks.

are you using lawnchair 15 or 16? 16 is a beta 15 I heard is stable but I tested it and it's trash

I'm using version 15.Beta2, it is the latest version available on F-Droid. It is quite stable on my Lenovo tablet and at least supports TalkBack actions on the home screen.

OK I don't usually use folders on the home screen, but I just tried it out. I created a folder containing two apps and then removed it without encountering any issues.

i agree, you can also use acctions and find move, when you double tap at the top of the screen remove and uninstall buttins show up, i really wish they were just acctions instead of being hidden behind move but that's how it is

And this mess is another reason why I don't wanna use Android as a primary. Default launchers are crappy, third party ones have issues, Nova was good but yeah its been aquired so... God damnit, if only Google didn't kill off their Now Launcher then we'd be alright.

Good for you? Now what.

I usually, use the one UI launcher, call me weird if you will. I just don't care enough. It has what I want to, even though I wish it'd spawn on the app screen rather than that home screen thing, as I can't really change positions of the apps on there. But the sorting on the app screen is something I got used to quickly.

Still better than beeing forzed to use exactly one layout and having no launcher. I mean bro until 1 or 2 years ago you couldn't even freely place the apps where you wanted. Besides noone asked you.

Erm? That was possible on iPhone since years and years, not sure what do you mean? Unless you mean on android.
